No, metal slug should not promote MSA characters. The series is already bad, but people want to turn it into a low-budget ecchi anime in which the lore and logic are completely killed.

It's a cute detail to have *one* sprite on the side as a little reference and all, but I hope they don't _actually_ commit to trying to canonify any of that gacha brainrot with all the mindless fanservice that came with it.
