Beautiful, beautiful performance Aida and Dimash both were magnificent, the scenery, the dancers, the chorus, all the best of the best. But you noticed that ending it's not Aida who raises her voice, it's Dimash who does it, he is incredible.

Oh, how beautiful this was to hear and see!!! My first love was figure skating, but the USA is not a place where many of these types of programs, with orchestra, choir, featured singers, and a cast of premier figure skaters, takes place. There are usually a few around Christmas, but it is like this one shrunk down to being more about the figure skaters than the rest. There is something you immediately notice whenever Dimash sings with a female, and the stage moves like this one did: he always is ready to steady her if she has any balance issues. His hand is always available, and she can choose to take it or not. He keeps his peripheral vision on her, and as a woman I would find that so caring as to be heroic. I love how aware he is of the singer he is with. Only one time did I see a female singer spurn him entirely and pretend he wasn't even there, and that was at a fairly recent thing in China, and her actions were shredded by the comment section. Even while she was snubbing him, he was still entirely there for her, until the program had ended, and then he walked away and socialized with others who were happy to socialize with him. Not so here. Aida is such a beautiful, gracious singer, they have beautiful chemistry. She knew very well that he was ready to help her any way she needed, and had she toppled (as the stage moved, and she was in heels), he would have broken her fall with risk to himself. The man, especially if he is Dimash, always puts the woman first. I love his gentlemanly actions!!! ((He also loves figure skating--I don't know if he skates, but he loves to do these programs with skaters.))

Great reaction, John. This duet was part of the Igor Krutoy birthday celebration show. Igor loves ice skating, so he brought together all his favorite singers to be at the show/celebration. Dimash, always the gentleman, shining through. Yes, his voice harmonized so well with Aida’s beautiful voice. Dimash was always careful not to overpower his duet partner. Well done as always. Only love and respect for Dimash.

This birthday concert of Igor was something else. The entire show with all the different artists (one was Andrea Bocelli for example) was outstanding! The figure skaters are all professional athletes some of them with Olympic medals. It was definitely the best ice show I have ever seen and the concept of combining figure skating with a concert performed by various artists is brilliant. I highly recommend to watch the entire concert.

I dont usually like female opera singers because their voices are usually like fingernails on a chalkboard to me. But Ida is an amazing singer and one of the few females who can shine as bright as Dimash. They also do a trio with Lara Fabian. It is amazing also.

Of course Igor would put Dimash & Aida together, they sound magnificent together. I'm not taking anything from Aida when I say that given Dimash's unique ability to choose the depth, richness or lightness as well as ability to match his partners vibrato, any audience would be in for a great performance! We are so lucky to around during a time when we have an opportunity to hear Dimash, watch him grow as creates his Neoclassical genre and hopefully to see him many times in concert!

I realized the last and highest note was Dimash by intently listening to Aida. Her voice is sustained for the last two notes. I was fooled by it at first because he sounds utterly convincing as one of the worlds greatest sopranos!🎶🤩💖

I think the high note was really her, because I hear Dimash’s voice singing at the same time a little lower. It’s very quiet. Edit: Now that I‘ve looked again. There are definitely two voices. But they are so similar, that it is hard to tell

On top of sounding great, they look like wedding cake toppers. Aida has a great sense of humor like Dimash, too. Another Dear heard Lara Fabian tell the hilarious story in an interview of the practice session for their trio, "Ti Amo Cosi" in this show. Aida quipped that if she needed to step out for a minute, Dimash could sing her part. All three of them got the giggles and couldn't stop. Finally Krutoy, whom I imagine was laughing, too, called for a break. "Aida, suggested they go out to lunch, put on her coat and gloves, then looked up at the clock. It was only 9:30 a.m.

Aida is a renowned Soprano opera singer capable of singing without a mike to be heard over a crowd of 4000 and more. So they're both very powerful, but Dimash takes the last high not for sure. You should watch more of Aida.

That was Igor Krutoy's 65th Birthday Jubilee. The entire concert had so many big stars, and there were always other side acts going on in addition to the ice skaters. BTW, in case anyone missed it, that was Dimash who hit the high note at the end.
