These are the singers we wrote about when Young Hwa was a guest at Suga's. Lee Hong Gi is the singer of the rock group FT Island, Hwe Seung is the singer of NFlying, and Young Hwa is the singer of CN Blue. They are all from the same company and their bands are legends in Korean bands. And they're fantastic singers too, of course.

Lee Hong Ki (the blond) is with FT Island. He's one of my first favorite singers, way back when I started watching K-dramas. He was in You're Beautiful, the first Korean drama I ever watched. He's not only a fantastic singer, but he's a great actor too! I dunno who the other man was, but his voice is beautiful!

Hongki is by far my favorite husky yet powerful vocalist in Korea. Remembering the time where he, with his band FTISLAND, used to fight the restriction where a band can’t perform live on TV. I don’t know about the other singer, but if you wanna know about Hongki’s voice, try listening to Love Sick (their debut song) and you’ll get heartbroken. But if you wanna see him in his strong rockstar voice, try PRAY. And of course all of them are better in live performances!

For me, Lee Hong Gi has the most amazing beautiful, powerful voice among the korean singers. I respect the opinions of others, it's only for me because i had the opportunity to hear him in live and I'm in love with his voice since 14 years. I like so much this duet because both singers has a beautiful match.

Hong Ki can sing anything. He doesn’t usually sing duets with men, because they can’t keep up. This is the exception. You need to check out both of their groups.

Yoo Hweseung is a main vocalist in a k-band N.Flying. You should check out their live stage with "Flashback" he have some solo song too (his lattest OST for Webtoon "Love Me Baby"), he was in Immortal Songs (this song "사랑의 슬픔" is just cheff kiss). He is also an musical actor. This song was released 8 months after his debut as a member of N.Flying. Hongki is from FTIsland and they were really the first band on the idol scene and are really well respected! Then their label mates, CBBlue came out! Then their label released N.Flying where Hweseung is from! Even though this is a ballad…I would love to see you react to their usual music! They both have a ton of live videos on their channels and people react to them without issue!

There’s a popular K-drama called ‘You’re beautiful’ that I had watched a few years ago, but Netflix added it recently so I decided to rewatch it. The drama is about a boy band called A.N.Jell, and Hong Gi is their drummer. The music from the drama is so good, so I also started streaming it, and that’s how the algorithm led me to this song. It became my favorite song. It’s just so good! Hong Gi’s voice is so powerful, soulful, you can really feel the pain in it, like you’re being teared apart, he’s so amazing! And Hwe Seung’s part is so iconic! They sound so good together, they blend each other so well, they really made this song perfect. I just love everything about this song, from the voices, to the lyrics, the melody, the instruments… everything’s just so good. I’m so glad that you got to react to it! Blonde Hong Ki lead singer with FT Island. Hwe Seung lead singer with N Flying, both rock bands you would love. I had recommended them before here. Korea is karaoke mad and all the guy love to do Hong KI songs, (along with Kim Kyung Ho but he is for another day hahaha). Hong Ki is known as Mr Emotion and is great friends with your favs One Ok Rock. N Flying are Ft Islands "younger brothers" and so do a lot of collabs. Another live to check out is Future by FT Island with a young Hwe Seung being shown the ropes ha. Really should check them out . N Flying do great anime covers and have another lead rapper/singer Seung-hyub who in a word is brilliant!!!!

First off, ft islands Hongki is one of my FAVORITE favorite favorite singers of all time and he will always have a special place in my heart. He does EVERYTHING. Rock, ballad, ost, pop, and a little duet with one of my favorite female vocalists baek ji young "can I love again" (which is my first recommendation 😛) also his vocals are juuuuuuust as good live in concert as it is in his recordings. I'm so glad you reacted to this song and liked it, you literally woke me up from sleep. I was about to get more sleep in but I saw this notification and had to wake up to watch it 😅 Secondly, I've noticed you've done quite a few reactions to one ok rock but I didn't see one for their song "your tears are mine." Just in case you’re confused why some people write Honggi/ Hong gi or Hongki it’s because the character ㄱ is kind of in between a ‘g’ and a ‘k’ so can be written either way. Korean doesn’t have a soft ‘g’ the way you pronounced it, they would use a ‘j’ ㅈ in that instance. Thanks for the reaction, love watching people discovering this song and these two amazing singers. Korean voices are really very beautiful and great singers with wonderful voices. But I would like to recommend three Chinese singers who are wonderful to me, Jam Hsiao, Hua Chenyu and Zhou Shen. Very different from each other but each one impressive in what he does. When you start browsing You Tube you end up discovering great artists like them. I assure you that you will not regret listening to them.

Now, I came across this song after watching Lee Hong Ki in a few KDrama, namely A Korean Odyssey which is basically a story about THE MONKEY KING and My Girlfriend is a Gumiho. This is how I discovered F.T.Island which he’s the lead singer in. NOW… Yoo Hwe Seung popped in my feed with this song belting out that F5 note that simply gives you goosebumps and THAT is how I discovered this SONG. OMO.. I clicked so fast when I saw what you were reacting to I nearly got whiplash! THIS SONG! Seriously though… I was just belting it out along with the video and my most horrible imitation of Korean. 😂.
