Genres don't exist anymore, only McFly songs 🤩 On a serious note, their earlier stuff definitely had a 60s Beatles and Beach Boys vibe to it, sort of a surf punk pop sound 🙂

Hey, Brazilian here! HAHAHA So, the way you said it the second time "Fresno" (with the Z sound). They're a punk/emocore/rock band from brazil and they're a BOMB. You should check them out for real. McFLY has their second major crowd here in Brazil, so you can only wonder what that felt like for us, that we have a song from them and even in Portuguese. THIS is the freaking freak freak HAHAHA Can't wait to see your reactions to other songs. And whilst we're talking about Brazil, you should try listening to Luisa Sonza. She's fcking good.

i believe the first song was during their wonderland tour in 2005 so doug (the youngest) would've been around 17 and the rest around 19 to 20. you should check out 'silence is a scary sound' from the same concert, it's even more pop punk than 'i wanna hold you' :)

Look up Busted. Both McFly & Busted were MASSIVE when I was in high school in the early 2000's. The lead singer of Busted (Charlie) has an amazing voice too

In 2004 I went to watch busted in concert and mcfly was the opening act, it was one of the first shows they ever did, I grew up with these 😊 so much nostalgia

Been a fan of mcfly since 2006 and was lucky enough to see them back in 2012 when they came to LA (first and last time they performed here), they are definitely way better live! You should definitely go see them if you can!

You should watch the wonderland live show the footage from the first video is taken from. They Jsut did a tour but they normally do tours in the second half of the year. Definitely see them on their own tour for your first show!
