I'm an old Japanese ROCK listener. I grew up listening to Red Hot Chili Peppers and Nirvana during my youth, so I grew up without ever hearing ONE OK ROCK. After I turned 40, I finally realized how great ONE OK ROCK was, and I really liked the drummer's style. So I looked into him, and to my surprise, he was a graduate of the same music school I graduated from! ! I didn't really think the school was a good school, but the fact that he went there was enough to make me proud 😂 I am deeply moved to think that that campus was one of the places where I honed this technique.

My favorite part about the Tomoya studio videos is the fact that the drums are turned up higher so you really hear what he plays

Just found your reaction videos from a Hanabie reaction and saw ONE OK ROCK and this song, which is my favorite so had to drop a comment! >.> After seeing so many of your reactions to various artists, I wanted to suggest Miyavi if you haven't checked him out yet! Ahead of the Light would be one of many song recs for him, but honestly all of his music is amazing.
