Taka has a voice and vocal power of a balladeer (he was even part of a boyband when he was younger) but is also definitely a rocker lol. I think his flexibility to slay a wide range of genre is one of the reasons why he's one of the best vocalists out there.

taka's parents also be musicians and his younger brother hiroki be the lead singer in the band my first story he also has a wicked good voice but taka's voice give me the shivers in a good way

His parents also be musicians - massive understatement 😂 no hate, just made me laugh! They’re both hugely famous in Japan themselves. His dad in particular is one of Japan’s best selling artists ever!

I love your reactions and am so glad that you finally were able to react to Taka's cover of Hello. He does it so effortlessly and is singing in the same key as Adele. Pretty impressive for a guy to do that. But I am a prejudiced OORer and am grateful that you are reacting to more One OK Rock songs. Estaba mirando videos de OOR ahora mismo. Mañana vienen a Barcelona y no puedo ir( tengo un brote potente de SFC/EM ). Llorando estoy. Vienen por 1a vez y me los voy a perder😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Tengo todos los discos y dvd de los conciertos( generalmente hay un pequeño documental pero como está en japonés, lo compro todo a través de amazon japan, pues no me entero ya q no hay traducción en inglés😅) 😅Ojalá que la gente que vaya a verlos disfrute muchísimo y los haga sentir como en casa😢.

I mean as a vocalist, he is technically better. Adele strains her voice even around C5 while Taka remains relaxed up to a semitone below her despite being a male

If I didn't know any different I would think Adeles version was the cover version of this song... just my opinion.
