I think you'd enjoy Jet black heart and the Live at the vault versions of Easier and Teeth as well. They did lots of great covers too which I think are worth checking out. Honestly most of their stuff is great. You can really tell that they are passionate and talented and put a lot of thought into their music. And the fact that they actually make their songs sound even better live (which is also their goal) should very much please you too☺️ I'm excited to see you reacting to their stuff☺️

I'm an Aussie metalhead grandma...lol. When my teenage granddaughter told me her favourite band was 5SOS I kinda cringed...lol. But then I heard this song on a "Top Aussie songs" playlist and it really roped me in! Now my granddaughter and I sing this together whenever we have a family get together....lol. P.S Ashton's awesome on the drums, hey? Check their performance at the FireFight gig. Ash just smashes it!

Also, two of the members Luke (main singer) and Ashton (drummer) have thier own solo albums they have released. Ashtons album was released in 2020 and is called Superbloom. Lukes album was released in 2021 and is called When Facing The Things We Turn Away From. If you get more into 5sos, I definitely recommend that you listen to these albums. It gives a better understanding as to what they sound like individualy and how they bring their sound to the band.

I love how much you're enjoying 5SOS! Youngblood is their biggest song and it has a million different live versions at this point lol but since you asked for more suggestions, I feel like you'd REALLY like Jet Black Heart (I'd suggest live from the 10 year anniversary show or the one from their Royal Albert Hall one night only show). I'm not sure if that would be your vibe but they did a one night only show with a choir and live orchestra that was fantastic, in case you'd be interested in checking that out.. Loved the video!!

I love that you said "Are they a sauce? " Please check out their 10 year anniversary show that they have on KZbin... They preform a lot of their favorite songs over the 10 years of them as a band. It is a very good "intro" to a lot of their songs and personalities as well. They also made their own ads and everything for the show! It has a lot of inside jokes from their years as a band. Also, they did go on a world tour opening for One Direction back around 2013 as well!

Love 5SOS and loved your reaction. Thank you! It's always refreshing to hear another musician's respect for an artist and know what they're talking about. They are the real deal and as an Aussie I'm very proud of them and how they continue to grow and pursue excellence whilst remaining humble and fun guys. I totally agree with you about a musician being able to cut it live - there's so much that can be hidden in the studio so when they're on that stage I want to see/hear what they really sound like! I'd also suggest listening to their cover of "Killer Queen" along with the "Making of Killer Queen" as a short bts of how they made it. It's very cool.

I knew you would love the harmonies. I saw them live twice in the last 10 years and they are incredible, meant to be heard live. Each tour they have a different stage setup. Brixton is actually where they recorded their live album, Meet You There. Youngblood is their most famous song. It hit a billion streams on Spotify in 2020. 1.5 billions as we speak. Last year was the first time I heard Youngblood live and I was mind blown, the bass and drums had no right to hit this hard. And yes Ashton is a beast on the drums. You mentioned One Ok Rock in the previous 5SOS video and the song they collaborated on is called Take What You Want. Definitely recommend it if you want to hear all the members from 5SOS sing. They have a bunch of live recorded songs on their YT channel. They also have live shows in forms of a documentary (How Did We End Up Here, mix of live performances from their 1st tour in 2014 and background of the band). The 10 Year Celebration Show from 2021 is a mix of funny bits and live performances (favorite songs from their 10 years as a band). And recently, for the release of their 5th album, they did a live show with a choir and an orchestra called The Feeling of Falling Upwards, Live from the Royal Albert Hall. There's more, they also did some covers and acoustic performances over the years. There's so much for me to dive into. If you want more live performances I guess Teeth live from the vault is next as you already know the song. Next, you should definitely dive into their albums and music videos. Holy shit. I always thought it was a really catchy pop song with a nice mix of rock vocals. But damn does the song slap so hard live. There's so much more noticeable guitar work (especially the palm-mutes @ around 2:30ish) that was either not in the album mix, or was so drowned out that you can barely notice it.

The album version is like that without the breakdown at the end and more synth. Another reactor, Blake McLain, did a break down of the song on his Youngblood album reaction and the guitars are reserved for a reason, to let the song breathe, like you said. They go from picks, to chucks, to full. I hard it live from the first time on last year's tour and what an experience, the bass hits so hard! The album is considered pop. The song is considered synth-pop and new wave. If you continue your journey with 5SOS, you're going to see that they love to experiment with different genres, so you're in for a treat. PS: The live album was recorded at this show.

Hey new subscriber due to 5sos only. My favourite song is lie to me but I like music clip better plus if helped me get over toxic relationship quicker, I also love jet black heart, ghost of you, she’s kind hot (great music clip), old me (which ends with them singing at fire tight concert in Australia 🇦🇺 there home country..)amnesia and wildflowers ( Callum bass guitarist doing most of singing on these two songs. The song that basically make them stars was “she looks so perfect” I actually think all of these are done in music clips just as good as live. You should watch there 10 yr celebration show it’s great as well as “cocktail chats with 5sos as the drunker they get the gunner they think they are..and “car bloke karaoke” as these show there personalities really good. They also did mini doco on the making they did of killer queen. They also cover “no roots so well” at bbc show and did a great song with chain smokers called “who do you love” they can all sing and play great musical instruments.. also sang American idiot on Howard stern show, it was funny as they are not Americans. Like another great Aussie band called silverchair who I believe wrote their smash hit “ tomorrow “ when they were only 12 or 13 beats out 5sos for being the youngest most successful band to come from Australia as I think 5sos were formed when the boys met at school and joined band when they were around 14. The song old me by 5sos is good as it references being in Australia and found by one of the one direction singers who was watching them on YT. The way they reference it is by getting young kids to act as 1D in music clips. Love from Australia 🇦🇺

Compared to BTS (7 members), they are simpler. Its a band of 4 members. Lead singer Luke (but they all sing), 2 guitar players Calum (bass) & Michael and drummer Ashton. They are a pop/rock band from Australia who got discovered through KZbin. OneDirection heard of them and asked them to join them on their tour as their opening act and the rest is history. What i love about about them is that you no longer see bands like this, where they all play instruments. Def check them out.
