Seventeen = 13 members, 3 sub-units, 1 group. Total; 17 (Pledis did originally intend a 17-member group but were unable to find sufficient trainees and so ended up running with what they had.) Once you go down the Seventeen rabbit hole; you better believe there's no going back. 🤗🌹💞

You absolutely should watch their live performances and dance practices! But I highly recommend watching their killing voice video where they sing through their hit songs all in one video and completely live!!! It’s a really good way to get into their music and different voices!!!

Seventeen grabbed my attention when I first listened to them and they quickly became my favourite group! I LOVE them, they are incredibly talented. Dk's vocals are insane and you have to check him and them out more! You will fall in love with them!!!

Thanks for reacting. Seventeen debuted in 2015 and have an almost unlimited discography in multiple genres. They know each other well and are committed to each other, great music, amazing dance and their fans, Carats. Tho they are divided into units they can all pretty much do everything. don't wanna cry was a great choice! it's one of their most iconic songs with excellent lyrics, vocals and choreography. highly recommend you to read the lyrics afterwards! just to clarify, they do have a rap line (hip hop team), vocal line (vocal team) and dance line (performance team), but all three units dabble in each other's "lines". you'll often see all the rappers singing (such as in this video, the guy you pointed out with the soft voice at the beginning was vernon, who is a rapper), vocalists sometimes rap, performance team does both, and all of them are really good dancers as you saw. 13 people is definitely a lot, but if you dive into them you'll see that all of them have very distinct voices and personalities, so it's not as scary as it seems! they're known for writing, producing and choreographing almost all (like 99.99%) of their work - the performance team is responsible for creating a lot of the choreographies. all of the members write lyrics. woozi, who you guys mentioned at the end, is the main producer of this group and i honestly can't think of a seventeen song that he didn't write and produce. there's two Korean American members (they use english names, vernon (half-korean half-white, born in N.Y.) and joshua (Korean, born and raised in L.A.)) and two Chinese members (the8 and jun) in svt. the rest of the members are Korean. one of the Chinese members is jun, who you've already seen in "psycho". dk, who you pointed out, is one of their main vocalists (they have 2! the other is seungkwan, who also has a very powerful voice) and has one of the greatest voices I've ever heard. seventeen along with bts are two of the most impressive groups for me, so i hope you'll check out some more seventeen and learn the members!
