This is such a masterpiece of his. Hi John, I saw Dimash live in Malaysia two months ago. This song really made me cry uncontrollably. I think it’s the vibration of his voice and emotion affects you physically. The concert was a week after his grandfather passed away, I’m sure it was difficult for him emotionally. Perhaps it made the performance extra powerful.

I think there's something important that many people making reaction videos to The Story of One Sky by Dimash are overlooking, or perhaps they’re not fully realizing. I've seen many reactions to both the original version and the live performance, and few have mentioned this, but I believe it's essential. When Dimash begins, he introduces notes that evoke an Arabic style, almost like Muslim chants. Then, the music evolves into more Eastern sounds, reminiscent of Buddhism and meditation. After that, the melody transforms into something more angelic, approaching Christianity. All of this happens before reaching the song's climax, where all his emotions literally explode. At that point, the visuals also gain intensity: images of wars, homelessness, the dead, devastation… Could it be that Dimash is calling out religions for the harm they've caused, or is he asking for a united, solidary agreement to end suffering? Or maybe both? It’s incredible, the power, emotions, and strength he conveys. The Story of One Sky is, without a doubt, a masterpiece.

I wrote this 4 weeks ago, probably when I dicovered Dimash, and I don't take off a single word. But I also discovered the Dears. So, to-day I add this : "...a total Dear down to the bone" NO. I feel like this song is a form of art and like great masterpieces of art it promotes a dialogue, sometimes a door needs to be opened to allow a conversation of a difficult subject that needs to be discussed talked about. I think Dimash has done this powerfully. Thank you for your reaction as well as promoting this wonderful artist and person.

This song was one of the first songs I heard from him, and it was amazing. In the mv, when he was doing the runs, he was screaming in anguish. You said it right. Its such a powerful, moving performamce. Love his voice and his message. ❤

The cries of anguish seem to reflect the differences between cultures while highlighting the similarities. Whether in a musical lament or some other way, every culture mourns (even by celebrating a life, we mourn the loss of life). Dimash leaves nothing to chance or happenstance. Please, never apologise for heartfelt tears caused by an artist's masterpiece! Dimash hits you deep deep inside. That was his intention - in order to really make you think about that topic. I had the privilege to watch this live on stage in Antalya. I cried rivers - twisted and torn between the message of the song and the outstanding, unique beauty of Dimash's devine voice.
