Actually she is a recipient of Cliff Burton rock scholarship since 2022 & they are very supportive of her.. they invited her to their home & gifted her Guitar & official CB merch last time she performed.. they(Cliff Burton family) were also present in the audience yesterday to support her.. & last time Gary Holt(From Slayer & Exodus) & Lisa Holt came to her audition & he even fixed her guitar tone on stage & they invited her to their home.. along with Alex Skolnick & Eric Peterson from Testament & Adam Jones from Tool & today even Metallica applauded her on video on IG & shared her clip on their IG story. She has the metal community's support behind her & that's such a wonderful thing.

Yeah. One of the things that always irritates me is when AGT acts like the artist would be nothing without that artist appearing on stage. In this case this is really just BS .. she has the attention and respect of the metal community ... basically meaning the AGT results will be of little consequences .. she is known, admired ... and space made in the community for her.

I watched that performance on AGT. I got to tell ya, that girl is explosive. She’s a breath of fresh air. Shred? Hell yeah she can shred. She plays so effortlessly that it’s fluid. And at her age? I’m totally blown away. And list to Maya speak. She sounds so mature. You don’t hear that kind of assertiveness or conversation from kids her age. She’s truly a natural gift for all humanity and I simply love this girl’s talent, bravery and personality.

Very surprising she didn't go to the next round. I had a feeling she would go all the way to the finals with that type of performance, even though its v difficult to win AGT as an instrumentalist. I’ve been a huge Metallica fan since the mid 80s and this is something I would never have seen coming in the future! I mean I remember how big it was for us metalheads when Metallica played at the mtv music awards. It’s just something we never thought we’d ever see- metal being accepted

Maybe consider reacting to _TOOL - Forty Six & 2 (Live Session) / Maya and YOYOKA_ ① (6min)? Maya & Yoyoka hadn't even met before. They started to jam, and luckily Yoyoka's dad recorded this on his phone. It's the first take, no edits. Maya had never played with a drummer before. Yoyoka has a genius for jamming unrehearsed with other musicians, and making the band sound great. This was recorded after Maya's first AGT, but before AGT was uploaded to YT. Maya is 11yo. Yoyoka is a 14yo female Japanese drummer. Yoyoka qualified for a US artist visa at 12yo (she was added to DrummerWorlds "Top 500 drummers in the world" at 11yo). Great performance indeed Maya.. amazing how the guitar strings obey your fingers! As a Tamil , I am proud of what you have achieved in your tender age! Yet ..if possible.. and feasible given your talent flair and aptitude to string instruments.. I will ask your parents to give you a normal teenager life including going to school / college , interacting and learning social life with your age groups.. That’s something that no college can teach.. interpersonal skills etc. All the very best..
