Just found this reaction! This song was originally unveiled a year or two back, as the theme for a Starcraft league final on AfreecaTV (basically Korean Twitch). Jayoung's voice as every bit as powerful, but controlled, as you think it is; she really knows her stuff, and is actually also a vocal coach. You feel it even more in person. And yeah, they're all absolutely fantastic musicians, buckets of stage presence, and lovely people to boot. I was also one of the heads in this crowd; it was an awesome show... now I have to wait till January to see them again in London... As Panic and Bill mention, I'd recommend heading to the Live section of their KZbin channel and checking out one of their livestreamed shows to get a better idea of what they're like raw. Those shows are played live and available immediately after for re-watching with no editing. (Just skip the first half hour or so; they start streaming before the actual concert begins.)

Have met you a few times in Japan. Last time was Day of Maid concert. I have seen Rolling Quartz 13 times now. Last one was this show in Korea. I can assure you Jayoungs voice is incredible live. Big range and control yet very powerfull. The charisma and stage presence of these ladies is really really good also. I believe they want to tour in the usa again. Looking forward to that.

Thanks for the great reaction to RQ. I saw them live in London earlier this year and they were excellent, and as you say they can play a wide range of styles everything from covers by Metallica to Lady GaGa, plus all of their own MVs. From 🇬🇧

Great reaction, John Reaves - love the poppyness of this 'One' . John - if you want to hear the purity and power of Jayoung's voice here are 3 excellent RQ 💎 MV songs. All 3 are covers, the first 2 by Korean artists from the 70s. The last 2 songs highlight Jayoung's skills on keyboards as well as vocals. * 'Azalea' (Maya cover) * 'Reminiscence' (Sanullim cover) * 'Always Remember Us This Way' (Lady Gaga cover) . Enjoy!

Their official channel has a few KZbin live streams where they play and talk for 1 - 2 hours. It is all unedited. Not mastered or remixed. No (discernable) autotune. They sound great.

This was the song that KO'ed their live stream last weekend ... but THIS performance is from the Rolling Quartz solo concert in Korea on July 6th. If you missed the stream, shame on you :p . You can still see it on their official channel ;) .

Thanks for your review. If you want to watch and hear a truly unedited live performance, I highly suggest their (Special Self Bootleg) Stand Up kzbin.info/www/bejne/hJrLomufjryAb9k. Still pretty amazing. Their energy on stage is unreal.
