Ivan wanting to run away with Till, but him running back to anakt garden because he couldn't leave without Mizi. Ivan has such a bittersweet smile. He knows that Till wouldn't choose him over Mizi but he still needs to try. He knows Till wouldn't betray Mizi, which makes him love Till even more, but he still wishes to be the one Till chooses. These two make me sick to my stomach, I love them so much! I could write about IvanTill for the rest of my life and it still wouldn't be enough! 😭😩😫

An explanation on the video in case you’re confused: Ivan was born in an illegal pet human factory in the slums and was caught up in the rage of a cruel dealer. That’s what the first part of the video shows. After surviving in the slums for the first few years of his life, he was sold off in an auction to a wealthy businessman alien. After facing death so early on in his life, he had basically resigned to become an obedient pet human and chose to not fight back so that he could live comfortably and peacefully. In the video, there’s a series of scenes where his surroundings changes but he remains the same, suggesting that to him, nothing in his life truly changed much. He was still alone and living life passively. Until he met Till (guy from round 2) and his world finally changed as we see Till running past him, and Ivan actually taking action and following after him. Till had sparked an interest in him because he was rebellious. Till always fought back against the alien even though he gains nothing but punishment and mistreatment. This curiosity Ivan had for Till developed into love. To Ivan, Till was like the meteors he saw when he faced potential death back in the slums, he was someone who shined brightly in the night sky (standing strong despite the harsh reality they lived in and being the ripple that broke the stagnant waters of his life). So later on in the music video, Ivan carried out his own act of rebellion: trying to escape Anakt Garden with Till, to give him the freedom he always wanted and fought for. But in the end Till went back, presumably for Mizi (pink hair) but maybe also due to the fear of the unknown if they really escaped. Despite this, Ivan still loves him and chose to follow Till back to Anakt garden, knowing that following him meant potentially facing his own death in the future when they step on to Alien Stage.

@ but wouldn’t it make more sense for him to want to escape to find her instead? I don’t really see how him staying at Anakt Garden can help him reunite with his mom? And that’s assuming he even remembers her considering how young he was when they separated…

@@wendy-vx2bw it was just my own theory, and they were young when they got separated. Till may think that where Io is within the Anakt Garden facility. It can also be due to Mizi.

This is my favourite solo song of the series, I love the rock ballad vibes and the drums. You're right it definitely has some Promised Neverland vibes. Also, not sure if you picked up on it but Ivan from this round is in love with Till from Round 2, not a spoiler but just wanted to point it out just in case as sometimes there's a lot to absorb in these short vids so it's tricky to tell but this song was meant to show that ;)

And you could say it's called alien stage because our characters are the aliens performing on stage in front of the segyeins. Also glad you're spreading out watching the music videos because it may better that way story wise

You finally meet Ivan! I really love his voice and his genre of songs. You're right about The Promised Neverland thing. In Round 1 you saw the snippets about how alien invaded earth and took humans as slaves when they talked about God bit. After that, human was considered slave race and those who had the ability to sing were trained--and selected--to participate in Alien Stage. What you see in this round--and other previous rounds--where the characters used clothing similar to Promised Neverland characters where when they're in Anakt Garden, a facility to train them singing for their future in Alien Stage.

Ivan's "solo" honestly was one of the most beautiful songs I'd heard in a long, long time. Just along with the lyrics and the sound of his voice, how soft it can get while he's reminiscing, and the desperation to convey how he feels through this scene alone was just immaculate. One thing I positively love about Alien Stage is that, they really do only give you the quick flashbacks, the sounds of their voices, the emotions on their faces as they sing, and the lyrics to let anyone who is watching to figure out what's going on. This allows us to read between the lines, assume friendships or growing affections, unrequited affections so that it stays on our mind, we come back to it over and again almost like on obsession. In the end, you're sitting in anticipation for what's to come with a good amount of your OWN heart dedicated to it, almost on a personal level. Unfortunately, that also makes us a bit anxious after seeing what happens from just these stages alone. SO GLAD you're watching these, loving seeing your reactions and how deep you get into it. Round two silver haired boy's name is "Till" and we just saw "Ivan" win this one. Can't wait till the next video, bouncing in my seat.

1:55 I like this part, this part clearly shows the viewers the feelings for each character’s towards eachothers. Ivan follows Till, yet Till can only see Mizi’s flower crown, and not Ivan who’s right next to him. I will not say that Till doesn’t appreciate Ivan, but in terms of admiration, he idolizes Mizi more than he does with Ivan.

So to put things in simple terms of what is going on is that . Round 1. The dark haired girl and the pink haired girl (sua +mizki) are girlfriends. And mizki watched her girlfriend die . Round 2 we learn about the silver haired guy (till )and he has a massive crush on mizki. Round 3 the dark haired guy (Ivan) has a crush on till. And now they are going to face off against each-other. Which is so heartbreaking. So over all this situation is just plain messy 😑 😭

It was hard for me to follow lowkey 😭 like I’m so good at analyzing and everything so I did that first. I understood the general story but everyone else knew so many other details that tied in the story even more to make it complex, but I couldn’t get together a lot of the connections, so I relied on others to piece it together for me 🫶
