Hi and thank you again for another excellent review. I myself can't help but to cry with many of her more profound songs so welcome. Not to impose or anything but, today is IU 's birthday (and mine too) in honor of that IU donated 200M won (plus she gave another 100M to children's hospital last week for children's day) for a total equivalent to around 250k USD (over the years she has donated over 3.5 million USD for diverse causes). IU also released a video this morning to thank UEANA for the support she has received. The Song is "I Stan U" which is no secret was written for her fans. The link is this kzbin.info/www/bejne/hV6Ud6OghbVplcU Don't worry, if you have not heard it is an upbeat song so no risk of getting to emotional. Thanks again.

IU always sings live and she loves having concerts to be with her fans. She always ends concerts with many encores by the requests from her fans so those are not fixed and she will start singing while she is talking. IU sings just like her recording and that’s one of the reason people who are not her fan don’t believe that’s a live. I suggest for you to check out Love Poem special live clip with subtitles, this is also very touching song especially when you know what’s about.

The point about "hitting a nerve" because we watched the MV is spot on. Far from diminishing IU's artistry though, it demonstrates how thoughtful IU and her team are in curating the whole artistic experience in the modern online media dominated world. If you follow the release of the entire Winning EP you can see how deliberate and effective their strategy is. They released one song at a time, with Love Wins All dropped first with maximum impact, and then Shopper, Holssi and Shh.. . All 4 MVs featured other top artists, ones that are known globally (likely done to generate global excitement for her first world tour). Each and every release is timed just right, as the excitement and freshness of the previous release started to fade, culminating in the start of the concert tour. Holssi was the only MV which instead of featuring famous artists, it featured kids from LA as her backup dancers. And on her world tour, she had local kids dancing on stage with her during Holssi at every stop. This hits home on multiple levels--amplifying the positive message of the original song, and endearing the local audiences for at least 3 generations: the kids and their parents and grandparents' generation surely will be watching and spreading the word. ;-), not to mention the cuteness and spectacle of cute kids of all ages dancing to the tune. I am sure everyone here is already familiar with the IU (and IU team) story. IU is not just a pretty face that can sing and dance. She is a true artist and music prodigy with extraordinary maturity and intelligence. Starting from a very young age (in her early twenties--she debut at 15, so she was already veteran by the time she was 20) she began taking control of her image, production of her art, and the business aspects--supporting her long term manager to start their own agency--yes it is IU's agency as she is a major share holder--that for a long time exclusively supports her career. As a business person and an amateur musician myself, I am floored by IU and IU team's sophisticated and perfectly executed marketing plans. Her marketing strategies have reached the top level since she went on the Olympic Stadium. And she gave us yet another aspect of her talent to admire--"the art of business" ;-)! IU Jjang!

absolutely, I think so much of the idea that she has the most relatable topics especially for me, since a lot of her music is about covering the idea of getting older and how to handle it, its really a gift and talent that her and her time. it is a great experience
