HOLY QWER! Their group name is pronounced individually by letters. Their name comes from a video game called League of Legends, wherein the hotkey skills are QWER. Their fandaom name is called "Rift Scutler" which also derives from a certain neutral monster in League of Legends. Lee Siyeon - Main Vocalis/Rhythm Guitarist Hina - Lead Guitarist Magenta - Bass Guitarist Chodan - Drummer Yes, they're sound is heavily inspired by jrock/jpop genres. The group was established as a parody for Anime band genres like Oshi No ko and K-on. Lee Siyeon, is a former member of NMB48 (sister group of akb48). She is korean tho. 1st korean member of the said group. All members except Lee Siyeon are influencers, Chodan (drummer) and Magenta (bassist) are yt/twitch streamers while Hina (guitarist) is a huge tiktok creator. The band was formed by another youtuber, former UDT, Kim Egg (Gyeran) and established Tamago Productions (The bald headed guy with beard that appeared briefly on the bridge part of the MV. He's actually wearing a mask, no one actually knows his true face publicly). It was actually just a project-based band but when they saw their songs ranked high in korean charts, they decided to continue and promote as a long term idol band. 3 out of 4 members have 0 to less knowledge when it comes to playing instruments specially Magenta. She is still working hard rn and practice from midnight to morning and it's paying off well. She actually knows how to slap now. lol Hina, which was a Keyboard main, also learned how to play guitar and is now their lead guitarist. Siyeon is quite the beginner too in her position as rhythm guitarist. Chodan on the other hand majored music which mains drums. They do not promote in music shows. Their concept is to be the group that can be reached out by the fans easily. That's why they mainly performs on music festival, military camps and anime/gaming conventions which turns out to be effective and immediately boosted their popularity domestically. T.B.H. actually has a short musical movie expanding it's story that includes 2 of their b-sides. Hope you can check it out too. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJXFmWOtYrChl6c

This is cool thanks! The song wasn’t really my jam but intellectually I agreed with Aaron’s analysis and now that I know a bit of their history I am more intrigued. 😊

@@kristenblack6026 Thanks. Hope you it will continue to interest you. They are a fun group, specially their youtube content. Honestly, the band scene in South Korea rn is pretty much dead. But thanks to QWER and their increasing popularity, some rock fans are glad that people are starting to return and attend music festivals nowadays because of them.

The band is called QWER, pronounced /kue/ /double-u/ /e/ /ar/. The four band members and even the director have great stories leading up to their debut. These stories on KZbin have helped them stand out in the K-pop scene, where young band music is desperately needed.

I absolutely agree, we will probably return as a channel to QWER next week. I want to support them

Definitely more of a jpop sound than most kpop. (But maybe that's from my simplified generalisation that jpop is often more rock inspired when it's more likely the case that that's the jpop I seek out.) I see the previous commenter already told you about Siyeon being a former jpop idol and lots of other info so i'll leave it at thanks for paying attention to QWER!

I agree, did you hear about QWER before this?

@@Killdeer25 I knew about QWER on debut because I vaguely follow NMB48, Siyeon's former group.
