Love the 0609. The blue scales are amazing. Mine are bronze. It has a fantastic blade to handle ratio. Great blade to weight ratio as well. This may be my favorite ZT to carry.

Thinking of picking up the black sprint run version of this in S35VN. Was considering to get the regular version in 20CV but the Sprint Run is almost half the price for some reason, so why not save some money also :)

I personally don't care for frame locks, but it's hard to deny that this is a handsomely designed knife with the overall profile, the blade grind, and the handle texturing.

Usually when it I have a knife like this and carry it a lot, I’ll usually just keep like a case in my truck, like one of those sunglasses soft cases and I’ll keep a torx screwdriver with some bits, and some oil and rag to clean my knife in case it gets wet and dirty. So if I had this knife I’d just throw the pivot tool in my case in the center console and it would stay there if I ever needed it.

I was able to handle one of these at Blade Show last year. It was absolutely a bit smaller than I had expected, but felt really good in hand. The action was great and felt of good quality. However, that proprietary pivot totally put me off. And finding out it is also not captured, big no from me - not matter how good it looks, aesthetically.

This is my favorite, and only, ZT - lol. The original bronze version looks the best imo. I thought about buying the 0562 ti about a hundred times but somehow i always end up buying something else. Just acquired a CKF Baugi, a Herman Sting 2, and a Koenig Arius flipper delete with blue twill carbon handle, blue hardware and backspacer and a hand-rubbed satin M390 blade.

I have this thing in bronze for over a year now. Even if you add the 20 bucks for the kershaw tool here in Europe this was very competitively priced IMHO! I added a detent ramp myself and that makes it a VERY GOOD action knife! only complaint I have is the clip. Way to shallow and I have not found a good replacement...

Have you seen the deep carry clip made specifically for the 0609 from MXG Gear? It even comes in a bronze that matches the regular 0609 pretty well! mxggear.com/collections/zt0609/products/custom-made-titanium-deep-carry-pocket-clip-for-zero-tolerance-zt0609 Hopefully your location doesn't complicate getting your hands on this clip.

I hate proprietary tooled knives. I’m mean WHY? There is absolutely no good reason that I can think of to do that. Can anyone give me good reason to do that? Does it make them more profitable? Does it make them cooler? Is it some sort of ridiculous statement of exclusivity? Also even though I watched till the end, I somehow missed the price if this knife.
