The tail is supposed to function like a short lanyard to give you one more finger of grip if you need it. I just don't get this one at all, which is fine. Not every knife is for everyone who loves knives and that's part of what makes this fun.

It's just a novelty. It's pretty funny but I don't understand why they went all out with the materials. Should have just went with 8cr and frn and kept it under $50 instead of the $200 they want for it lmao

It is called the "Po-chi" it's a generic Japanese dog name like "Fido" or "Spot" in English.

Its a cute little knife and I've had my eye on it ever since the reveal but oh boy its crazy expensive for what it is. $189 for that is crazy. And that's coming from a guy whose favourite small spydie is the McBee. Edit: also the name is actually Pochi. Its a super common japanese dog name, translates to "Spot" in English.

I bought a couple of the little Fox knives,Mini KA's. The one I keep on my StanSport carabiner,for my keys.clipped to my belt,has broken down. This looks way better for a tiny knife.

You should have immediately said "Bad Pochi! Bad!" To date I have been cut with exactly one knife, three times: a Leatherman Micra that's my backup multitool. I stabbed my left hand with one of the scissors (whoops...), REALLY opened a cut running my finger along the chisel-ground edge right next to the bevel (whoops...), and three days ago, I was cutting open a box and it hit a wet spot and hit my left index finger (cardboard blunted it, but it still cut me). It's always the small ones.

Pochi was too small for me to grip onto. I ended up choosing the Defcon Rhino for my ridiculously small EDC.

Thats pretty dang impressive. My dumbest cut came from me being an idoit with my manix 2. I stuck my finger in the spydie hole and managed to pop the blade out, only to have my middle finger slip and get cut on the blade. It was pretty impressive how much i failed
