I like how you brought up that he has credit in the rap culture and community. He definitely does! I think it’s because A - he’s really talented lyrically and B because Eminem is 100% himself and doesn’t act like anybody but himself. And that is what appeals to everybody from trailer park folks to outlaws and black folks. He’s got the frickin goods baby! And he never rode trends he did his own thing his way and I genuinely think that’s what made him famous. Love seeing this video from an outlaw perspective! Good shit!

Bizzy Bone, Tha Dirty Wormz & (hed)P.E. too, I believe are a few extra, "classic examples" of how, certain aspects, of particular acts who were of, and/or even just around during/through that Era were the progeny of & basically just the allowance that I would certainly support as being a necessary factor for that next great movement to take and evolve, and how they (that next gen) sort of seemingly, just effortlessly shifted the direction of music so seamlessly, bridging innumerable gaps amid various counterculture, & even status quo, demographics, but as for the current idk wtf happened there... the words "mumble" & "rap" by all accounts, from my own personal perspective on the matter(s), are two words that are, absolutely & definitively contrary, regarding their core intent, but I digress... So to compile the info you seem to be given in separate comments....Debbie is Eminem's mom and they have had a very strained relationship (that's actually putting it lightly), Dr. Dre is his producer..Dre found Em and made his beats, and some credit? Eminem by most people is considered the GOAT or at the very least one of the GOATS. Some would argue his placement being above or below that of Tupac or Biggie and a few others. But some credit is an understatement, he paved the way for white rappers as well sa paved the way for rappers of all kinds to be able to rap about what they want and not be shut out from tv stations and radio stations. He is the best selling solo rap artist of all time. However, the reason Tupac and Biggie are very close 2nds in terms of being GOATs is they paved the way for Em. He pays his respects to them quite often.
