To me the notes and tone Dave came up for this song convey it's sinister intent perfectly!

Dude! Awesome. I agree with you. This has always been my favorite song from the album. Impressive skills, bro! Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge. I appreciate it. Mustaine was WAY ahead of his time.

If you dont have 24 frets use the 15 of the high e
@kuroteshima2 ай бұрын
20 on B would be better no?, tapping on the high e would mute the left hands hammer ons in the intro

It's hard to believe this is a Megadeth song. Their future work is also amazing yes, but this song is just something else. Thanks for the lesson. Do you learn this by ear?
@macehilmatecilof41403 жыл бұрын
This song always absolutley blew me away. Megadeth at their best. I think this was always kind of a sleeper hit because of the poor quality of the original. Such a great song, one of my favorite songs of all time.

@@macehilmatecilof4140 Yeah I missed some of the awesome riffs later in this song because of the mixing.

@04:57 What's the main riff strumming pattern. Can any one say that?.is it alternate picking or downpicking What's the meaning on open A power chord?
@Baconator_-zy8ri3 жыл бұрын
He is alternate picking that pattern but you can play it either way you’d like (down picks or alternate) open a power cord is on the 2nd fret and you play the open A string (open/0 means that you are playing the string just that you don’t have a finger on any frets of said string) and the D string on the 2nd fret. You can bar the rest of the strings by the way, but you only play the A and D. Hope this helps :)
