You nailed it. I remember learning this out of a guitar magazine back in the 80s. I just wish Randy Rhoads could see the mark he left on the world with those two albums. Can you imagine what he would think? Over 40 years later and we're still having a blast playing his music.

I use to check out your Slayer stuff years ago. Good job! I was doing pretty well on alot of them. It's tough with only 3 digits. I stay mostly with acoustic finger picking as compensation, and implementing the thumb, for lack of pinky.

I'm almost there. Still having trouble transitioning in to the tricky riff at 10:14 AND getting the timing right. I can play the riff perfectly all day long though, I just can't transition into it smoothly enough from the riff before it. The other part I'm still having a bit of trouble with is at the end at 22:41, but that's sort of the last riff that I'm learning too, so I think it's just more practice needed here. But that tricky one? GODDAMMIT!!! lol
@metalbryan1013 ай бұрын
@@TheMadArab138 good to hear you’re getting there. Just don’t let the speed distract you. Play the riff as purely as you can and as slowly as you need to. Practice like that and like magic… the speed will come!
