@MetalDetecting245 жыл бұрын
Hallo Andreas.

The soil looked very dry and hard caked. It is difficult to dig through but you had some great finds regardless. Great video and thanks so much for posting! I hope you have a full recovery from your accident.

Hello Gregory, thank you very much. The soil was dry but fortunately not that compressed as in other locations. P.s. The recovery is still in the process. I wasn't able to metal detect yet :/. Have a great day.

Thank you David, maybe there is still something out there. Today I would probably hunt this place a little bit different (maybe even using my "all metal" setting). Have a great evening.

@MetalDetecting245 жыл бұрын
Hello Moira, thank you for watching :). It was a great find and a memorable moment. Usually the majority of Roman coins from my previous area was covered with a thick crust and looked like a round stone. It's an entirely different experience to see so much detail right away. Have a great evening.

Thanks for another really nice and exciting video from you, something always happens that can catch one. Hope it is fine with your leg again because it was a little dramatic experience. Sincerely. Claus.

Hello Claus, thank you very much! The danger is around every corner. I got away with many things in the past and wasn't paying attention to small warning signs (the nature gave me)... The leg is still not like I hoped it would be... The iron inside must be causing problems. I will try to get (professional) help this week. Have a great day.

Thank you, I like this coin too. It was in great shape. The recovery process isn't really moving forward. The place above the wound (which is still not closed) is warm and numb. I guess, the bit of rusty iron inside is stopping a full recovery. I will try to take care of it soon. Have a great day.

Thank you. The leg is not healing as I hoped it would... The metal inside is probably preventing it. I also have no clue if there is other damage caused by the penetration by the wire (no one looked at it until now...). I hope to find help this week. Have a great day.

Magnentius was Magnificent!! I like the Deus much better. The only thing is how do you tell the differences in tones when they mostly sound the same??
@MetalDetecting245 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the comment Mr. Beepers. There are some slight differences. Sometimes it's a combination of things like audio information about the size, depth and "industrial" sound VS the sound of "small" and "deep". It helps when the signals are repeating itself. With only a few finds it would be very difficult to compare targets, but in this case it was easier to make assumptions.

Lots of trash...but what treasure in the coin and ring. Companions are content with the find.

29:38 I think it is not a .50 cal. Perhaps it is russian PTRD/PTRS antitank rifle bullet of 14,5×114 caliber. They are very similar on first sight....you can measure it ! )))) Its is 14,5 mm or 12,7 (like 0.50 BMG). And you will know, whos shooting there - russian antitank or USA Browning M2 ))) Take care of leg !!!! best wishes.
