Yeah... i live in Finland and our radio channels won't censor the music for curse words... like if a song is outright racist, they wont play it, but if an artist thinks that an F-bomb is needed in their song, our radio stations will play it... to the point that few months ago i heard radio person apologizing (not sure if that is right.. to say sorry) for playing censored version, because that was only thing they got...

Another great reaction, this song is a classic, so much fun. :D And as I said in my previous comment on the Kim video, you never have to apologise for your reaction sir. Your reaction to Kim was exactly what I was expecting it to be. That is the reaction of most 1st time listeners who listen to that song. It was genuine. Just keep reacting with this honesty. :) And yeah, you've listened to only a handful of Eminem songs and you can already see who versatile he can be. Look at the range of the man. This is the same guy who gave songs like Godzilla, Stan, When I'm Gone, Kim, Without Me, all of them so different from each other, different vibe, different style of rapping. That's why he's the GOAT.

It wasn't a shot to Nirvana but to Moby who is kind of guy who is into those meditation things and stuff. The bald Eminem is acting him.
@oggouz4 жыл бұрын
If I remember correctly your dad compared the song "My Name Is" to a comic. They are definately comparable, so I ll try to give you some context about Eminem's alter ego, Slim Shady. Slim Shady is Eminem's evil, non-stop joking and controversial alter-ego. His first album, "The Slim Shady LP" was a big hit exactly because of Slim Shadys controversial character. But even after the legendary "Marshall Mathers LP", which is for many to this day, a clasic hip-hop masterpiece, the song where Eminem rapped again as Slim, "The Real Slim Shady", got extremely popular at the time. Therefore, even after the huge success of the definately more mature MMLP, people still wanted to see the controversial Shady. Thats what he s talking about in this song. "I ve created a monster, cause nobody wants to see Marshall no more, they want Shady".

I would love to have like an extra 5 -10min at the end like filmed a couple of days later to hear how the clip & music has settled after some time. That would be fun, because some songs need a bit more time to actually settle or for people to thoroughly appreciate/enjoy. Also I'd like to point out, a bit of research to give the public would be fun, specifically aimed at the difference between Eminem , Slim Shady and Marshall. Perhaps a good track to react to that would help understand the difference would be this song, Without me, Real slim Shady, D12 - My Band. Basically it's accepted that Eminem has several persona's in his music production, In the past this was not understood by a huge portion of the public which resulted into backlash and comments regarding the different styles of Eminem's music. This prompted several musical creations/responses. Firstly he's an artist, so he wants to have creative outlets, he used several persona's and styles to pursue that. I personally liked all his rap simply for how well articulated it always was. I will admit with some songs I needed time to digest the style, others it was instant love. I hope I made clear that this is my perception and I hope others agree with my sentiment. I'd like to see another clip with a second impression regarding some of the songs that maybe are now in a different light.
