The song is about finding humanity in the aftermath of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. It takes a special group to pull off something like this. As others have commented, Midori's insane, almost constant shred lead doesn't get enough attention. It's sort of a counterpart to Miyako's shred tapping lead in "The Crusade".

I came unglued when I first seen/heard this. So many influences here, in this one song. Hard to list them all. Midori constantly shredding over the chorus. The chorus reminds me of Joe Jackson "Stepping Out". The ending... Rachmaninoff 2nd symphony Adagio. The main galloping riff. Midori using a slide. Haruna hammering away on the drums like she is Ingo Schwichtenberg and it's 1987. This song sounds like it was written by 5 or 6 composers, each one writing different parts. It is one of Lovebites more "proggier" songs, and I think it's awesome.

Awesome song and i would say somewhat of a fan favorite, i see a lot of fans mentioning this song! It's one of my favorites too! Their Live DVD's are always awesome sound (in case you don't know, Lovebites mixes and masters all of their albums/DVD in Finland at Finvoxx Studios, the same studio that mixed the Nightwish albums). 🤘🙂🎸🔥

Last song of the encore of an hour&45min show. A literal atomic explosion represented, midori shredding throughout including slide, the major-chord chorus to lift us from the devastation, while miyako gives us the slower melodic release from the intensity. Midori's guitar-work 'under' the chorus is phenomenal. Hiroshima, an experience unique to the Japanese people, embraced to motivate overcoming and a positive outcome, even, or especially from such unimaginable suffering. LOVEBITES! unsurpassed... The outro is "The Everlasting" written by Miyako

I love this song, it hits you like an avalanche, same feeling is on Above the Black Sea. Sadly it got blocked. I'm trying to think on what song I get that feeling too. They have to be Apocalypse quite thrashy one and Addicted with a massive intro on it. Addicted has also that lifting chorus but overall a powerful song. In my opinion you should try those next. They are not the ones that often are requested but hey, they don't have a bad song.... I'm not sure if there is still live versions of both songs but they are live at Zepp Diver City, works on audio versions too 👍🤟🐺

It's too bad you skipped them taking their final bows. There is a brief moment when the personalities of the five women really come into focus--Midori the outgoing, flirty one, Miyako the stoic, slightly amused one, Haruna soaking up the adoration of the crowd, Asami the stage general, and Miho, her sadness and her pride both showing through. It's quite remarkable.

Odd that you cut off Miyako's outro music, "The Everlasting", and missed their final exit, preceded by Midori getting down to the audience and clasping hands, the only one to be so 'in touch' with the fans, with Wolf-Pack. These are moments never to be ignored, imo. As for the 'major chords' in chorus, it is LOVEBITES pattern to confront challenges and hardships, with appropriate musical composition, then to lift us from that 'heaviness' into a 'lighter' more desirable state of empowerment. The major chords are appropriate for that aspect, and are consistently used in many of their songs. Embracing the 'whole' of life on Earth.

Love the wo wo wo part, this is sound like anthem song. You should listen Under The Red Sky from Battle In The East concert 2018 and Heavy Metal Never Dies 2021. IMO 2018 & 2021 sounds better than this(2019).
