Kendrick inspired opening. Elysium is the best part of Heaven, Tartaros (also an acceptable spelling) is the worst part of Hell, Gaia is mother earth - the dichotomy of the journey between them. The struggle between yourself and yourself. The beat/flow changes are his ADHD so he doesn't get bored. 🤣The Head on a Platter was filmed after he got gouged in the eye with the rusty forceps. He refused to find out who did it because he didn't want to low-key hate them for almost making him blind. There is water flowing from the Right eye (as you look at it) and it's very swollen. 7 sins for 7 Rens. Only Ren can kill the Sick Boi. The Bunny is named Johnson. There is a Jamaican Boxer named Bunny Johnson, the first British heavy weight boxer champ and then there's Watership Down and all of the bloodstained bunnies. Recently Juliet Johnson, the granddaughter of Adams, who wrote Watership Down (originally the idea was from the story he told his granddaughters at bedtime) just had the rights to the book returned to her family through court. So Johnson is a bunny that fights for rights! Ren did a breakdown on Twitch then watched Knox's breakdown. He was happy that Knox missed one of the bars. He said that he has started to write to mess with Knox to keep Knox on his toes. It's on his Renmakesstuff channel. He talks about the vacuum seal in the stream. He wanted to do this since he saw it in Batman. Remember the lyrics are in the comments and the information about the producers, etc. is in the description. Joe E. Sparks does a fantastic filmographer breakdown of this if you are interested. Ren has the creative effect on ALL of us. He brings out the art in all of us. We call it the REN Effect.

For the "wrapped in plastic" experience, he was lying on a wire grid there, so lots of air from beneath. Ren said on twitch he was surprised it was not bad at all, just felt like a hug LOL
@ancltube2 ай бұрын
@@jacks9624 I'm pretty sure the singing under plastic part was some kind of digital effect or film trick. He did say that he loved being vacuumed, but he mentioned lying on a grid with a gas mask on (you can see the mask in the first vacuum shots from above).

He said he really wanted to experience being shrink wrapped. He had a gas mask in there and yes, he felt it as a big plastic hug. "Living the dream!" He is describing his internal experience of living with chronuc illness. Every relapse kills him and forces him to reconstruct himself. He accidentally was stabbed in the eye and he filmed another hour to finish before being hospitalized for a week back in April. This current relapse started with the severe eye painand blindness again. He knows now that autoimmunity is a life sentence and he won't be able to tour.

Great catch on the sword! Yes, from Zelda. You like the music - the instrumentation - that's cool. You also recognize the vocals as an instrument; nothing wrong with that. You shouldn't need to defend your preferences. Anyone who listens to foreign music can agree that the lyrics are not always important. I feel that way when listening to opera. With Ren, his lyrics are important to me because I love his pen - especially when he buries meaning and you need to take a step back and see the forest rather than the trees (i.e. "Illest of Our Time" or "Animal Flow"). Ren often dangles flashy bits on top of upbeat tracks, so you miss the deeper metaphors during a first listen. I Iove that. I think there's a lot I still need to explore in this one, which seems to be about reinventing/reincarnating oneself in this life (or perhaps the next). At least, I think that's why he's deleting parts of himself. Great reaction! ✌️💛

Ren had a Kill Count whilst shooting this. Came to 10 at the end of the first day. Don’t know yet how many times he died overall. Yeah, Ren cares about the flow switches and melody too. Death to the ‘Sick Boi’ and transcends to ‘Slaughter House’. Great reaction. Thanks ❤ Edited to suggest ‘Rensperation’ - he definitely inspires other muso’s

Brilliant, with perhaps a tiny adjustment to 'Renspiration' so that Ren joins with inspiration, also with aspiration I guess 🤔😊. Unless the folder will house other inspirational artists...

It's funny thinking back to the first reaction videos for Hi Ren; so many of them started off saying "9 minutes geez I?!" And finished off saying that it didn't feel like 9 minutes at all. Now everything since then has been significantly shorter and we all say "you know, I could really use a few more minutes of this" ☺️ I'm really bad about puns, my apologies in advance. So I would say if a song inspired you to write a song then it would be muse-ik 😂 I did warn you

Ren said he really liked being vacuum-packed under the plastic, that it felt warm and comforting. :) Then again, Ren's walked close with death for so long, that he doesn't fear death any more. So he probably has a different viewpoint to most... He's said that death doesn't bother him. At times it's seemed a comfort and he's wished for it frequently, so he's not afraid of dying. He finds the prospect of a long life, with every second spent in pain, a long lufe of pain and suffering, to be much more frightening, which is understandable.

Sick Boi is dead! Welcome to the Slaughter House! :) The logo for the Slaughter House album is a rabbit. A bunny called "Johnson"! :) Ren directed and edited the video, of course and every track on the album was produced, mixed and mastered by Ren. :)

This one has it all musically and lyrically and I reckon it's a pinnacle of his Hip Hop-based productions. Ren made and produced the beat for this - imagine trying to explain to someone what you were after with that masterpiece in your head 😂 Canadian team Ramble Films made the video around April this year - everyone involved in the production etc. is credited in the info box to the original video. The behind-the-scenes on Ren's Patreon is brilliant. Best place to get answers on production and filming aspect. Sick Boi has been metaphorically killed off and expect a radical change in direction on this album now. He shared on Twitch that there's lots more guitar/singing on the way.
