Fun note on the title: it's a double entendre, which is quite common in kpop. The Korean word 밤 (bam) means 'night' and the word 비 (bi) means 'rain'. So it's literally 'night rain' - as depicted in the video. But of course, his Bambi bae is yknow, someone he might like to take to the UN Village for relaxing and chilling.

What I love about Baekhyun’s vocals, and what he’s best known for (besides belting high notes), are the amount of emotion he brings to a song and his ability to move seamlessly between chest and head. He’s really exceptional.

- Baekhyun is the main vocal of exo, his vocal range is insane, he can even hit note C6 which is the highest note of SOPRANO (Female Singer). He is the 1st male idol who hits that note in KPOP HISTORY. you can check his bside song "ALL I GOT", U r gonna get surprised when u listen to that song, his vocal is crazy😎

I truly recommend his others songs from his Bambi album, specially All I Got and Cry For Love, his vocals there are even more insane than Bambi, also his collaboration with the Korean rocker queen "Seomoontak" that collaboration is named "Hurt", is a rock ballad song, really amazing... We all know Baekhyun is the most versatile, flexible and complete Korean vocalist/idols, he can sing every gere easily... Kpop God, genius idol, nation's vocalist, he is the best 👑

This song is about (according to Baekhyun during interview) :- You call your loved one 'Bambi' and hoping this Bambi (means 'Night Rain' in Korean) could make the relationship closer~♡ BAMBI TMI / FACTS: Baekhyun said BAMBI is a song made specifically for him. SAAY (co-writer/producer) said Baekhyun is the one approaching Deez (song producer) in the first place, saying he want to do an authentic/traditional R&B style song with acoustic base and on top of that a song where performance could be added. SAAY (co-writer/producer) said that the recording of baekhyun’s high note ad lib part in “my neverland” was done in one take (that track is really like no other) it is enough to gain a standing ovation from everyone in DEEZ’s recording room.
