They used to get a lot of hate, less now in part because of how many metal legends have either toured with them, listened to them, or have family that love them and are vocal about how good they are. It's also useless to hate on them, they just smile and put on another legendary performance, on occasion yelling "Bring them on!" near the end of a song. Fun watching with you, thanks!

◼ 🤍 🖤 ◻ Nice shirt! I have the same one, but I've never seen another one in the wild. The opening song for this show was 'METAL KINGDOM'. 'Monochrome' was the eighth song of a fourteen song set. BABYMETAL usually perform at Yokohama Arena, which holds 17,000 when they play in Yokohama. I beleieve that venue was already booked, so they performed at PIA Arena MM. PIA Areana is operated by the Pia Corporation, and it's in the Minato Mirai district.

At about 8:05 you can see Moametal motion to Sumetal, who says with her eyes to Momometal, “Get in here, girl, you’re officially one of us now.” (This was the concert where Momometal was officially announced as the third member, she had been filling in on most (not all) shows after Yuimetal’s departure.)

Monochrome is another beautiful track from latest album, it was the 2nd single released in November 2022 and there's an official lyrics video really cool if you wanna enjoy the studio album version, later in 2023 right before this concert you just saw they released the Piano Version at The First Take surprising everyone with another stunning and beautiful one off stripped down version. The lyrics got some Norse mythology reference and when the lyrics vid came out there were many theories around, later they said they were surprised about it and saying they just wanna give a hopeful song. Here's some official info: _"One of the discovered 10 parallel worlds is MONOCHROME and this 2nd pre-release digital single “Monochrome” centers around this theme. From the eyes of the children, what color were the monochrome fireworks lighting up in the night sky? This song expresses the hopeful wish on Ragnarok, which signifies doomsday in Norse mythology, twinkling across the starry skies in rainbow colors."_ This was live at BabyMetal Begins - PIA Arena MM Clear Night, Yokohama on April 2, MomoMetal first concert as an official member (she's the new official member after YuiMetal left the group in 2018), you can notice SuMetal speaking to them in the middle section and giving that recognition. They got this magical moment when performing live in every setlist they did throughout the recent World Tour 2023, and we'll definitely gonna see more this year. The composer behind this song is the same one behind Karate, Rondo Of Nightmare, Kagerou, the arrangement of Megitsune and also behind Believing from this same latest album, you should really not miss those songs. It was not only a live Show, this was Momo's first day as a Babymetal, the day before she was an Avenger (Guest Dancer). But no it was not begining , That was usual after 5 years Babymetal Death with all 3 girls on crosses. As we can see Momosrill had trouble with distance She stayed a bit away from Su after her Call out but Su demanded from a Metal Body contact.

Thanks for this reaction. 5:58 strictly speaking, the choreography follows the lyrics most of the time. Kind of like interpretive dance/sign language. Yeah, haters have become less, but they still exist.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。Nice T-shirt!! I witnessed this very performance at the venue where and when Momoko was inducted into BABYMETAL officially. Yes, she had a headset mic for the first time like Moa has done since BM's inception. I sang the ♪ oh oh ohoo ♪ part with Momometal with my loudest voice in the show holding my phone. What a bliss! The flying drones with cameras that enabled the beautiful aerial cinematograph were manipulated by experts including Ms. Shiraishi. She is a member of team Japan for World Drone Racing Championship. As you may know Western (American) Kami Band played in the girls' back. They have supported BABYMETAL's 2023 world tour and this year as well. Japanese fans always appreciate the devoted support like knights by Chris, CJ, Anthony and Clint (Ryan replaced in USA). They are really unsung heroes.

I was at PIA Arena for this show. It was actually on the small side for a Babymetal headline show in Japan, which made getting tickets for it quite difficult. When they play in Japan, it's usually in venues of around 20,000 capacity. I was told by other fans who were there that weekend that the bigger Yokohama Arena venue that they normally use was booked for another event, so they had to use PIA instead. The PIA shows were a pretty special event, since they marked the occasion of Babymetal being born in their new form with Momometal officially joining the group. Of all the Babymetal shows I have been to, it's probably my favourite.

The song is about the kombins of Hiroshima were SUs family is from. Her grandparents died in the bombing. It’s a very personal song for here.

ありがとう！ The BM is completed when all the people in the hall become one. Everyone is a member of BM. The choreography is by Mikiko, who directed the closing ceremony of the Rio Olympics. BM is better live than on studio recordings, but as for Monochrome, I highly recommend seeing the official music video and the piano version of "The First Take". I think each of these can be interpreted in a completely different way. 🔥🤘🦊 From🇯🇵

And Halters seems to be at the Moment more a question of the past, the Collabs with Kingslayer and F. Hero proved to rhe industry that they have their own fanbase about 40% females and all ages from 5 to 85. Since Su's voice us rather unique she can harmonize with nearly everything. Kingslayer Was a Demonstration but Leave it all behind is widely recognized as a Masterpiece and the electric Callboys are the next in line.

Your first reaction to genuine live from a BM concert I think (seriously - avoid "official" as a general rule - it's studio over performance with no crowd or intros, and has way less impact). Good spot on the ticking clock sound btw (it is relevant imo) - many miss that. Ty for reacting to my fav BM track...live :P
