Always happy to hear someone say they're putting a Day6 song on their playlist. ♥️ Also, while the Korean version also has the same message, the lyrics are slightly different because they didn't do a direct translation. Their main lyricist is also fluent in English, so they wrote this in English instead of translating, which is why the lyrics sound more organic. Thanks for another Day6 reaction! And your originals which played after the reaction sound great! Where can we check them out? 😊

Cool i really like this song. Happy melody with a not so happy subject. Kinda like into the ocean. BRANDON HART has a thing for that too. Upbeat melody not so upbeat lyrics. DEPRESSION and GRIEF are daunting. Love your positivity

I forgot about this Day 6 song... I have Sweet Chaos, Rescue Me, and Shoot Me on most of my current playlist. This one is really good too. Nice to see you switch it up once in a while and bring back some Korean stuff (and yes I know this one is the English version lol) to the channel. You know I love my kpop. 😂 Yeah, I lived many years feeling like a zombie but I don't feel that way anymore. I pushed through, I do things I enjoy and found a bit of happiness in my life again. Music was the biggest part of that though. Getting into kpop brought me so much new music and I'm even back to listening to old bands I hadn't listened to in a while (non kpop stuff). And music has also brought a lot of cool people into my life that are now friends. It has made all the difference.

Have you seen his reactions to their music? "I forgot about this Day 6 song... I have Sweet Chaos, Rescue Me, and Shoot Me on most of my current playlist" If you like Day6 you need to hear their Japanese album "Unlock". It is their best album by far. That's the case with all Korean Rock bands. When they do a Japanese album it's almost always their best work. I'm going to be uploading better English translations of some of the songs from Unlock soon since the current English translations out there are bad.

I have not seen the reaction to FTIsland. I usually click on the reactions he does that I know the groups/bands and I'm not familiar with them. Will have to check those out. I will have to also check out Day6's Japanese album. I'm always so overwhelmed with the amount of music from groups I get into that I don't always have time to listen to everything.

@@aj_ns7 You should really check out FTIsland. 🙂 They are great and are very diverse with their sound. They've done Metal, Pop Rock and almost everything in between. He's done a number of reactions for them. Search on the main page of his channel for "FTIsland" and you'll see the list of reactions that he's done so far. Start with "Who I Am" which was the last one he reacted to. "Who I Am" actually has a similar theme to "Zombie" by Day6. Different vibe but lyrically it talks about a related topic.

It was written in english first (by Jae former member of Day6) then they turned it into korean.

So you didn't hear the English version before! That's great! 😁 You said you in your reaction to the Korean version that you really liked the song so I knew that you had to hear their English version of it. It's also cool that although you forgot the Korean version you said some of the same things you said about this as the Korean version. For example how you liked that the song was about something you could related to and not literally about zombies. I'm glad Day6's English version hit home with you! One thing that I didn't realize until just now is that this and my last FTIsland request that you reacted to which was "Who I Am" are two songs that both have a bit of a similar theme. And I ended up requesting these pretty close to each other. I didn't mean that at all. Funny that. 😊

Hey, Alex! I requested he react to this English version when I went back and saw he reacted to the Korean version. I recommend you check out FTIsland's "Who I Am" which he also reacted to a couple of weeks before. I didn't realize it until I just saw his reaction video here but both Day6's Zombie and FTIsland's "Who I Am" have a similar theme. It was a coincidence that I requested both pretty close to each other. In fact, do check out FTIsland especially when Ang here reacts to them. 😁
