Fabrizio Moro ❤️❤️❤️ he's an incredible songwriter, one of my favorites! The song the girl wanted was talking about is "Pensa" which is about "Cosa nostra" that is a Sicilian crime organisation - one of our country's evils (very different from the mafia you Americans think about and see in movies). I strongly suggest you listen to that song and the lyrics is so powerful! Portami via is a love letter from a father to his child. It's beautiful. 💙

I have to admit i never listened to Fabrizio Moro with much interest, in fact, i only knew "Pensa" ("Think") which is kind of a hit, he became known in the mainstream market thanks to that one if im not mistaken, and then i listened to "non mi avete fatto niente" ("you've done nothing to me!") sung with another singer, Ermal Meta, winning 2018 Sanremo Festival, also took part to 2018 Eurovision, scoring a 5th solid place. But this one is completely new to me! It is really really good and actually aligns with my taste. Very inspiring lyrics, can i say 'insightful'? Nice, really really nice! 👍

4:37 "is this the new big thing in Italy?" I mean... one of many new artists that are trying to push on with their own style, melodic pop rock has always been contaminated and has evolved thanks to many talents as you can see here. As of today, one should check the numbers on spotify, like a record label company would do, tho numbers are not everything, but I do agree that those numbers on KZbin ARE indeed relevant! Fabrizio Moro is doing a really good job and the mainstream market is giving him his slice of welcoming success. Does it make sense what I just wrote? Point is, yes those numbers are incredible and now I can say well deserved. I didn't know much about him but now I'm looking him up, I'm not disappointed, not one bit. (I've always underestimated him, for no reason, just because I never listened to another song of his, thanks again Angelo!) Plus, I'm human and I can update my music taste ;)

It's unbelievable how much u're into italian music lately, i recommend Fabrizio Moro and Ermal Meta with "Non mi avete fatto niente" a great song about terror attacks. It's worth the listening, they won Sanremo and went to Eurovision, reaching the 5th position, if i remember correctly. This song "Portami via" is dedicated to his daughter Anita, whose birth made him reconsider his life for the best and basically he's admitting that his baby made his life better, saving him from himself. Fabrizio Moro's discography is amazing, but still underrated here, listen to his albums, there's plenty of great songs. Thanx a lot!

Thanks, man! I love this song so much. I discovered Fabrizio Moro in 2007 or 2008 when I was still in high school and studied Italian. And I love him ever since. And this song is one of his best ones, I know it's about a father's love for his child but it's one of the most beautiful love songs I've ever heard. Some phrases are just pure art and poetry. And that's Fabrizio, a poet. And as a person who's had mental health issues I can absolutely relate to the lyrics. The song about fighting mafia is called Pensa, the song he won Sanremo Giovani in I think 2007. You should check it out, too.

Hi Ang, I've been following you for a while and for some time I think you might like Baustelle a lot: they are one of the most underrated modern Italian indie rock bands (I don't know if anyone has already recommended them to you).
