This is a Beatles song that was written by Paul McCartney. The reason The Beatles are such a beloved legendary band is because they wrote songs about every situation you can think of. Everybody related or liked at least one of their songs.

Peter Noone from Herman’s Hermits tells a great story about being in the studio and seeing the tape for this and thinking it was a song they wrote for him. For No one. He said something like he felt like an arrogant jerk when he heard it.

Try "Yer Blues" by The Dirty Mac. It was John Lennon's temporary supergroup that featured Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, Mitch Mitchell and himself doing a Beatles song.

@@MadAng66 This is from his 1984 theatrical movie (now on DVD) "GIVE MY REGARDS TO BROADSTREET" YES, "Broadstreet" NOT "Broadway" In London their was a "Broadstreet" subway station, thus the title. You should react to the other songs in the movie as well, "NOT SUCH A BAD BOY," "SO BAD" and "NO VALUES." In the movie, along with Paul is his wife LINDA, RINGO STARR and his wife Barbara Bach (who was a James Bond girl ), BRYAN BROWN (who you recognized), TRACEY ULLMAN, and SIR RALPH RICHARDSON (it was his last movie before he died). You will also see him perform "YESTERDAY" and "ELEANOR RIGBY" and others. LOVE this movie.

Here There And Evrywhere is a beautiful song from the same album Revolver, but also Oh Darling! From Abbey Road album can be close to this feelings even if it's more tough as a song! For him "The day breaks, your mind aches...* but for her "She wakes up, she makes up She takes her time She doesn't feel she has to hurry She no longer needs you" This is fine poetry and nails that hollow-inside moment we've probably all experienced when you know that you have been consciously erased, you're now forever in her rearview mirror. One of best tracks of the Beatles (should be heard in the original version).

Just to put in a word in defence of Jane - she had plenty of reason to leave Paul and he knew it! He wanted and had an old fashioned idea he was entitled to have his woman be there at his side all the time, supporting him in his career, but she was a serious theatre and film actress, pursuing her own career even before they met, and simply couldn't be there for him 24/7. To console himself, he made full use of the virtual harem of adoring young ladies who were always hanging around his house in London, including one or two regular 'secondary' girlfriends. Jane came home early one day and caught him in bed with one of them, and it was the final straw (There had been other issues too, including Paul's drug use, which are alluded to in her Wikipedia entry). She no longer needed him, or these humiliating situations, because she still actually had some dignity and self respect! He was devastated, and apparently behaved much better in his next serious relationship, with Linda, with whom he went on to marry and raise a family. In all the years since their break-up, Jane has never betrayed his trust and talked or written publicly about Paul or their relationship, despite enormous public interest and what must have been many lucrative enticements to kiss and tell. She had a successful career and a happy marriage to the illustrator Gerald Scarfe, famous for his satirical political cartoons and artwork/ animations for Pink Floyd, amongst others.

This is a good version, but the Beatles version is a Piano based. If fact the album it us off ,Revolver, is considered one of the best albums of all time. Very modern, even for today.

For No One is a Beatles track but Paul McCartney wrote and performs the song. As far as copyright is concerned, often it is the video that gets blocked. Try a lyric video instead.😊

Good luck on your Beatles journey, but watch out for Spanish (or maybe South American?) YT channels with Spanish (or Portuguese?) subtitled 'Beatles' songs - many of them are fakes. Sometimes they're hard to spot, even for fans. Check out the comments below where someone usually eventually points out it isn't actually the Beatles, but a cover passing itself off as the real thing..
