I agree, their Korean songs are deeper. But Dynamite, Butter, and Permission to Dance were to cheer people up during the pandemic. It was this concert that drew me in. Spring Day, then watching the explainer and I was on board. I fell hard down the rabbit hole. Jimin became my Bias that day and hasn't changed. I was lucky enough to see them live in Vegas and to see Suga in Oakland. While I still listen to other music, BTS is what I listen to the most. If I am sad, and need to wallow, it's 0 clock, Let Go, Film Out. Walking I listen to the upbeat music, Fire, Dope etc.

They really are masters of hand offs, it’s hard enough for two people to sing together seamlessly, but seven of them? It’s just stunning. Hours and hours of practice, same with their dancing, pure perfection. They are true superstars, I get blown away time after time with these men.

Never be sorry, you can ramble as much as you need to. BTS helped me so many times, and continue to help me on a daily basis. There is nothing like them and I am so glad that my daughter introduced me to them. My daughter has suffered mentally since her dad walked out on us. SUGA saved her with his song where he speaks of his own struggles with depression and anxiety. They make us both feel that we are never alone and that it's ok to just be ourselves all while helping us learn to love ourselves. Living with depression and anxiety is life altering, the struggle is real. But together with BTS and Army we know we are never alone, and neither are you. 💜

Easily my favorite TD offering, and it was SUCH a breath of joy and fresh air when it was posted in September '20. I've probably watched it over a hundred times, every time a I need a little cheer or hope or just want a smile. I was due today, and here you were. 💜 Thanks for the heartfelt reaction! ETA (now that I'm not walking while commenting...): I'd always loved BTS, from the moment I'd heard their first songs (BST, probably, or maybe a little earlier). Their debut date just happens to be the day I was married, and I had already been raising a son, so my mind wasn't really on Kpop, much as I enjoyed it when I heard it, or any band at all. It was in the early Love Yourself era that I started listening more readily, but MOTS:7 made me ARMY. Covid was easier on us at first, as we ran our software business out of our home and we live rurally. My son has a core group of friends with parents who trusted one another, so no birthdays were missed, and they could hang out without issues. My son, freshly licensed to drive the autumn before, used our office in town for schoolwork and, of course, gaming. My trouble that year was having broken my foot whilst walking to the postbox and being confined to crutches and a boot with no weight bearing. --Being a marathon runner, and being denied the one release I had, PLUS having to do all the gofer work and errands during quarantine with that setup, and week after week of x-rays showing slow, slow but not enough improvement, thats when it started wearing hard on me. That's when "Dynamite" came out. And it indeed was that ray of sunshine that I'd so desperately needed, and the start of my own recovery upstairs as my foot finally began to heal properly. (I was finally able to walk without crutches the day after Thanksgiving.)

Thank you so much for sharing the story of how you found BTS! How did your foot heal? Are you able to run marathons still?

Yes I became ARMY during their Wings era release and they helped me with a hard time with my mom, I’m older but I had to deal with my mom who was very difficult even though I was the one paying and taking care of everyone, my saving grace was to watch BTS to escape and it really helped my mental state. They are an inspiration for me and I’m grateful.

I subscribed a few weeks ago when I was watching your "BTS are Rockstars" reaction. Love your love for the guys and your sincerity. I was Hardcore Journey Fan and I thought that I would never love or admire a Person more than Steve Perry and then BTS found me. My love, admiration and respect for this 7 angels is bigger than life itself. For a couple of months I am dealing with a very depressing Phase but watching their songs and other content makes me happy and smile even though it's a dark time right now. But I know that spring will come. I am so happy that you finally outed yourself as an ARMY. Much love from Vienna, Austria. Borahae💜💜💜💜

Hi Brian! It's so nice to see you back, honestly I've missed seeing your videos pop up. (And a longer one as well it must be our lucky day today) Hopefully everything in life is going well! Loved the reaction, I always like to hear your thoughs so please ''ramble'' as much as you'd like! It's never a bore. This time around as well I have to say I completely agree with you! I love all bts songs including dynamite but I do always end up preferring their korean ones. All of them I hold very close to my heart but the korean ones just feel so much like them. Dynamite is soo fun to sing and such a happy song, and the tannies always have a blast when they're performing it (their smiles tell you everything!) but I would much rather hear a korean one XD. On the other hand I do feel like dynamite, butter and ptd achieved exactly what the tannies wanted at the time though! To lift our moods and for us to have fun, a bright, happy song. Similar to you I appreciate the songs as well in that regard. (It might also be the metalhead in me talking, that naturally gravitates to certain sounds) So you can imagine my surprise when you put a clip of Chester, linkin park have always been one of my favorite bands. Actually before getting into bts my playlists where mostly made of lp, disturbed, system of a down, three days grace, korn, slipknot.... and so much more! I'm glad you put the clip in that was a great addition, it brought back some nice memories for me :)) Thank you so much for your reaction, I had a rough day so honestly this video was the perfect way to relax a bit before the next day comes. One more thing I wanted to mention. I do not know if it's my place to say this but man you seem so happy! I remember stumbling upon your first video where you reacted to the tannies and I've been following you ever since. And I don't know how to explain it but watching your videos recently you carry a different energy, you are so animated and it's soo lovely to see. It's like you are finally in your element! I sincerely hope I am correct in my observation because you genuinely deserve it. People say that bts find you when you need them the most. And it's weird because I don't usually believe in that sort of stuff but they really did. It's true for me and I guess it's true for you as well! It's getting pretty late so I don't think I'll have the time to share my army story but for better or worse it somewhat resemles yours. I always thought of the tannies as my spring, you calling them your awakening reminded me of that. I guess it's a similar sentiment! One more time I'd like to thank you so much for ''rambling'' and being open about this stuff I know it must be quite difficult. I'm always in awe of the tannies and their willingness to be vulnerable and open. I always think to myself if they can do it then I can do it as well, and I do try but still I am so terrified. Now I see you do the same and follow in their example it's honestly quite inspirating for me to see. Who knows maybe I'll try some more :)) Take care and until the next video whenever that may be!

I loved reading your comment! Korn was one of my favorite bands-I saw them live twice in my twenties. I also love Mudvayne (saw them live), Three Days Grace, Tool, SOAD, Linkin Park, and many more. You're absolutely right in noticing how I've changed since discovering BTS. I feel like a different person, but also like I've found myself again, if that makes sense. I’m feeling happier, more at ease, and more comfortable opening up to people-both online and in my real life. Thank you once again for the amazing comment and for watching my reaction!

@@DestructiveMediaYT Thank you for taking the time to read it! I remember you mentioning Mudvayne a couple of times so I checked them out a while ago. A new better me, but still all the same me :) Also I am happy to see I was correct ! Hopefully only good times are ahead of us now.

I've seen this Tiny Desk performance of theirs before, but as always, I enjoy watching again with your commentary. These type of performances are probably the closest I'll ever come to seeing them live. I don't think I deal with the size of the audience/crowd for one of their US shows after they're back to touring. It would have been hard pre-COVID, but I really couldn't imagine it now, afterwards. I found BTS, or they found me, last year. Their music and videos have been a constant companion now and I look forward to more from them.

Bryan! How is it that I never realized that you never shared this performance with us before! I have watched this so many times and never grow tired of it. You said you've seen V's and you should do RM's, as well. (I apologize if you already have.) I do agree a lot with you /re the English only songs, but I realize that they have their own sound and style, as do their Japanese only songs. Even though I don't understand either language, I can usually tell the Japanese only songs because of that. I think each language has it's place, but it was the Korean songs that brought me in. I don't have a bias, but I think it's great that J Hope is yours! So looking forward to him being out of the service.

This is the video that made me ARMY. It's so neat to go back to it now... It was when V asked if we could hear him and I answered out loud (like you did!) that I realized I'd become ARMY without even noticing it 🤣💜 But it's also the video that caught me in the first place. I had only heard Dynamite, and thought it was fun, but it didn't really grab me. Then I saw this, and they were having SO MUCH FUN with it. And then Save Me and I was like OH THEY DO THIS TOO? And then Spring Day made me cry and I was left counting them and thinking I just wanted to learn their names. 😂 I don't regret a moment of it. 💜 I've enjoyed being along for your journey as well! I love them and have been army for almost 3 years. my anniversary of being army is this month! borahae!
