This song probably saved some lives and will save others. Someone who walked that walley of death and get out of it alive wrote the lyrics and that is why it is believable for those who are fighting depression.

This song helped me step back from the edge several times. Their song Machi Basad has taken me from intensly hating myself to the point i don't know what to do with myself, to sleeping at the computer with my headphones still on. I has the energy and aggression to calm my hatred, and the up beat drums to bring me back to a good place afterwards.

this song hit me so hard the first time I heard it (read it I guess, it really is the Hindi lyrics that get me) My 3yr old twins were sitting there asking me what was wrong cause I’m just crying. I’m like “it’s ok, it’s ok, it’s just a really beautiful song. Daddy is ok guys”. Made me tear up watching your reaction just now cause I know you felt the same, shock, tightness of the chest, when this song literally started speaking to you. Crying is not a weakness, never believe that. Shouldn’t bottle anything up, good or bad, emotions need to be expressed. Should be expressed. The first time I saw this video, was the first time I had really cried in years, and I felt great after. It’s not that I really have any issues now, I mean I always will have some issues. But I have been in that dark place, and clawed my way out. And I don’t believe I would still be here at this moment if I hadn’t reached out to somebody I trusted, and they were just there for me. Whenever, wherever, whatever I needed, they were there for me. And I owe them my life for simply being there. This song really is so powerful. I recommend all their original songs, Ari Ari, Endurant, Machi Bhasad, I also recommend Raoul Kerr’s entire NO FLAG album. Highly recommend his songs. His words are so relevant in this world, and he needs to get those messages out. I also highly recommend looking into The Snake Charmer, she does some songs with Karan and Raoul, is an amazing piper, and does some pretty cool Indian/Celtic crossovers

I'm an old punk/metalhead, eighties edition (built in the seventies) and I don't know how many people would still be around or be around better if we weren't so afraid to not seem 'hard' all the time. If you need to leak, leak. If you need to vent, vent. If you need to talk, talk. Hell, if I'm here and no one else is, I'll talk to you even if I don't know you. Just talk people. Communicate. I can't help if I don't know what you need. You won't seem weak. You're not a burden. MR: subbed. Hit the bell. Thank you for not trying to seem 'hard' and showing people by example that metal isn't about being a stone wall.

I'm near my 30's now and i've had some mental/emotional instability through my entire adult life (starting around when i was 14, suicidal thoughts since 16). I was never diagnosed with BPD (as i've never been talking about it to my relatives or anyone i know really) but its description is above 90% accurate for how i've been feeling. I've found that metal music helps me a lot (and the thought that i've always have time to finish with myself so there is no hurry). I'm lucky enough to find myself an amazing woman (my wife now) so i have someone to live for. But man, this is sometimes hard AF to cope with myself. And also i cry like a b*tch whenever im listening to songs like this one. Cheers.

I originally started watching this reaction while on my work computer, where I can't leave a comments, and felt that I had to leave something.. so I quickly hopped onto my own computer. I've watched Jee Veerey dozens of times. It always hits me. I've been in that dark place.. I've lost friends to that place and I've lost family. I wish.. I wish they had heard this before they left. This song is just beyond great. You can look at it from any aspect and it is good.. and then they set up the sessions to help people at the end of the video. I love these guys, and I've shared the original video several times. this has been one of the best reactions I've watched to this Jee Veerey, no one else (so far) has spoken at length about depression, about suicide, or about the lyrics. I also lost a close friend to suicide. She was smart and funny and wonderful and I hadn't seen or heard from her for a couple weeks. I reached out to her and the next day she was took her life. Thank you for opening up about your loss, pain, and honesty.

Your reaction and your shared experiences, feelings and vulnerability are absolutely precious. Depression is indeed a killer. If not literally, then figuratively. As a chronic atypical depressive who has also lost loved ones to mental illness struggles, even if it does not kill you, period, it can kill you on the inside. Kill your future plans, your dreams, your sense of purpose or your sense of self. In that dark place, you might not even know who you are anymore, what you're supposed to do and supposed to be. I was stuck for years in that space, existing, _not living_. I urge every single person to REACH OUT. You ARE NOT a burden. You are not useless. You are not unworthy. You are needed. You're so worthy. It just doesn't FEEL that way right now, so it's very, very hard to believe. Reach out. Please.

But after years I went to a psychiatrist for my ADHD and he diagnosed that I was depressed. Suddenly so so so many things started to make sense and so many experiences fell into place. Trust me, most of the people who go through hell dont know they're depressed.

I' m a latecomer to your great channel. About crying and tears: When we feel the need to cry from frustration, sorrow, anger, embarrassment etc, it's partly because our brain desperately tries to "flush" out stress hormones like cortisol. Under stress our problemsolving abilities often get impaired or crash. This is why stress hormones are so potentially harmful. The make up of our tear fluid is completely different compared to the content of f.ex tears of laughter and onion fumes. If we let ourself cry, alone or with a friend/s...the stress becomes manageable a lot quicker than if we "remain strong" etc. This is why we get new ideas or feel able to get unstuck after a good cry. Also why we tend to feel relaxed and sleep so well afterwards. Big thumbs up to you❣️🖖🤘
