@@MadAng66 We've all seen a lot of concerts, from Metallica to AC DC, Pat Metheny, Sting, Depeche Mode, Michael Bublè, Manowar, U2, etc. Objectively speaking, Vasco Rossi's live shows always have an impact and a very high technical level, it's not that a concert like the one at Modena Park is normal for any superstar. Fortunately music is many different things, I go through almost all genres of music as long as they are done well, then of course you also listen to minor productions. So when my brain or my soul asks for it I listen to Fresu (an extraordinary jazz trumpet player from a small town 20 miles away from my village) or other jazz artists, if I need to I go to classical music from Bach to Rossini, from Hayden to Verdi and recently I had an argument with a guy who only listens to metal. He told me Mozart is boring.... Mozart is full of music like I don't know how to describe it and I simply asked "But do your ears work?" Music as an Italian rap author says (Caparezza the Maneskin have done a couple of covers of him) can't be locked in a prison between bars

I've read some unclear translation of the lyrics in the comments, I think that sometimes the literal translation doesn't exactly work so here my version: "There is something that is not right in this sky There is someone who doesn't know what time it is There's who says (stay) here There's who says (move) there I'm not going to move Someone says (move) there Someone says (stay) here I'm out Many people are convinced that in the afterlife there would be something ... Something ... who knows How many people there still will be just satisfied (he refers to people that are fine with what society tell them is right and they stop growing, they stop to try to improve) There is someone who doesn't know anymore what a man is There is someone who doesn't have anymore respect for nobody (but) There's still who stands (literally he says "there is who says no" which is also the title of the song) There's still who stands (who says no) There's still who stands I'm out There's still who stands I'm not going to move Many people are convinced that in the afterlife there would be something ... Something ... who knows How many people there still will be just satisfied There's still who stands (who says no) There's still who stands I'm not going to move There's still who stands There's still who stands I'm out There's still who stands There's still who stands I don't believe in all this There's still who stands There's still who stands I'M A MAN" (solo) 🎸🤘

The first part of the solo in this song was played by Vince Pastano (aka Vincenzo Pastano), the second part was played by Stef Burns, guitarist for Alice Cooper (1991-1995), Huey Lewis and the News, Sheila E. and many others. So important is Matt Laug on drums, american drummer who played with Alice Cooper too and Alanis Morissette. Many famous drummers worked with Vasco... Maike Baird, Vinnie Colaiuta, Glen Sobel, Deen Castronovo and Will Hunt.

Vasco Rossi is one of the stones that built Italy but it’s not easy to appreciate outside of it. He needs to be “explained”, contextualized, only then you can appreciate fully this man, his mind, his ability to write and evolve during his career. His vision. Having said that, I understand it’s not possible to have an assistant for every song he released but I will suggest you give a chance to Toffee. One of his biggest successes (one of the many). It’s a slower song but what still hits me after all these years, it’s how intimate is, how it seems alive, how good is the instrumental part. Do a little research about this song, read the lyrics (are very very simple) and then listen to it. I promise you you will not be disappointed. I have yet to wake up on the day when if I catch this song somewhere I don't want to get lost in it.

Well done, Nice pick maaan!! Just to give a little background, this guy is doing music from ages, he has always been on the edge a very extreme character. At the begin of his career he participate to San Remo festival (which is the one that Måneskin won in order to participate to the Eurovision contest) and he got the last position, he was too much for that time. The national news were trying to trash him but its follower grown and grown to the point to make concert with 400k people. Its Italian supporters consider him like a religion, mostly because trough his lyrics he has been able to be accessible by everyone at every age and background. The next song that I'd like to suggest you, if you're thinking to make another Vasco reaction, is called "Gli Angeli" literally "the angels" a song that he has dedicated to his historic manager that died few years ago, a very emotional song with an amazing guitar solo!! Thanks man and nice riff at the end 🤘😎❤️

@@cavallaro1975 Oh my God on youtube there is always someone who has to find a way to contradict you. Ok, Vasco Rossi is not the musical father of Maneskin. Is grandpa okay? I meant father both by age and by the warmth and affection with which he supported and praised them. And then rock is a big family which certainly both belong to.
@cavallaro19753 жыл бұрын
@@mericonci72 you don't understand a single word! The rock Is a big family? Yes, but he's not a rock Singer! I'm italian, i speak italian, i'm born in Italy, you can answer in italian, vasco rossi c'entra col rock come i cavoli a merenda
@mericonci723 жыл бұрын
@cavallaro19753 жыл бұрын

Well Man, Vasco's guitar lead player is Stef Burns, that played for Alice Cooper for many many years. At the drums we have Matt Laug, which also played for Alice Cooper and Slash's Snakepit. I mean, there's a rock rock rock band. The other guy on guitar is Vince Pastano, which is the main maker of this Metal new direction. Actually the song you listenened to it's very very old, but all this stuff was rearranged in a new metal key for the last shows. Vasci is so much charismatic as a leader, and even if it's very old, it's still a beast on the stage.

I testi delle canzoni che hai scelto dei contenuti importanti e non sono tutte facili da cantare e,no per estensione vocalema, per quanto si sentono.
