Haruna does that for two hours in their concerts. And her bell and fill work are spotless the entire time. As insanely good as the whole band are, I have to say Haruna is their secret weapon. She would make any band better.

Great reaction ! One of my fav songs with motivational lyrics. M&M are arguably the best guitar duo today, and one of the best in history, and that's no hyperbole. Like you have mentioned, to be that in sync / harmonized at that speed is just phenomenal ! Haruna, the drummer, does this double bass not just for one track, she does this for 12 to 15 fast-paced songs in near 2-hour concerts !

HARUNA is just doing what HARUNA does!!! She can beat like this through all the live concert with no hesitation and look so fresh at the end of the concert. "Stamina" is her second name!!! She is not called "Little BIG Engine" for nothing!!! Charged with nuclear power always!!! M&M (Midori and Miyako) practice a lot, always work together to improve their fast harmonizations and synchronization. Someone said that when the band was in hiatus, Miyako asked Midori to teach her to play more faster, because Midori can play REALLY VERY FAST, Miyako usually is the more melodic player and using her "wha-wha" effect board, sure she also can play fast but Midori is the faster of both.

Thanks for your reaction. My acquaintance with LOVEBITES (autumn 2020) began with the song 'Rising' . Quite by chance I saw on YThow LOVEBITES performed this song at a concert. I liked the song and decided to watch something else. The second song I checked was 'Thunder Vengeance' (live). After listening to 'Thunder Vengeance' I decided that I needed to take these ladies very seriously and set about checking out the rest of the band's songs. I couldn’t even imagine what awaited me. If someone had told me then that a Japanese (seriously?) all-female (what?), metal (?!) band would become my favorite, I would have laughed then. But two weeks after meeting and listening, LOVEBITES became #1 on the list of my favorite bands. This was filmed at a portion of the Byoubugaura Cliffs in Chiba Prefecture on the Pacific coast. I've been to Japan a few times and have another trip coming up, but I've never been to Chiba. Social media aside, I believe this video is the last time we see that beautiful white FRX that Midori is playing.

I am an old Spanish wolf, and honestly, I am in awe of these girls, I still remember that distant 1978, when I was waiting in front of the record store for the latest Rainbow or AC/DC album and now, after a thousand years later and with the transformation of heavy metal into something dark, pessimistic, sometimes unpleasant, I find myself with these wonderful women, incredible and beautiful artists, full of sympathy and positive energy, who transmit joy of life and hope, who have filled my heart with joy. I cant stop watching and enjoying them; I have forgotten the old bands with their old musicians who repeat their old songs over and over again; I just want to hear, see and feel these masters of heavy metal music. And special mention to the most beautiful and talented singer in the world, my beloved Asami, the goddess before whose feet I bow.

Women are especially good at it. ⭐Haruna⭐ is practicing to correct unnecessary movements and perform more efficiently. 【The following is from an interview with LOVEBITES for a magazine project】 During her hiatus, Haruna had a personal trainer to improve her physical fitness. Haruna also took lessons from a drum trainer to improve her drum playing technique and performance form so that she could perform in the future without injury for a long time.

Midoei & Miyako are arguably the best guitar duo I have ever heard. I have heard no one who can harmonize as seamlessly as these 2. Incredibly they have tracks that are even faster. Haruna is the turbo engine that drives them. She is incredible. As always love your unbridled enthusiasm.

3:20 Using the double bass kick is one of Haruna's forte's. She never uses her bass drums "on a principle" (always *or* hardly ever), but she is _free_ in using them. And she never places her drumkit just to impress or to boast, but she uses it all, and always only for the sake of the music. (Some drummers place drumkit parts to look impressive, but not to use it all. Haruna uses it all.) Generally spoken, Haruna _commands_ her drumset, and she gives Metal drumming a good name. That lady is a _phenomenal_ drummer, a one-off. *And* she has a heart of gold. 👏 お辞 🐺💮

The location is said to be Byobugaura, Choshi City, Chiba Prefecture. But since the island is not supposed to be visible, they are probably using two different shooting locations. I did check Google Maps like you said, and there are similar cliffs on the Oregon coastline.

There's also a beautiful version of "Rising" worth checking out that's just Asami singing and Miyako on piano. It's mellow and really brings out the emotions of the lyrics. When they do play the full version live, Miyako does switch back seamlessly from piano to guitar solo.

Also, if you ever do watch "Rising" live, choose the performance from the Daughter Of Dawn concert because that, imo, has the best mix which brings out Miho's bass lines, especially during the harmonizing part of the solo. Miho doesn't just doesn't play a typical backing rhythm, she instead adds another layer to what M&M are playing. Its hard for me to describe, but you'll get it when you hear it.

Great reaction. The location Byoubu-ga-ura is on the eastern shore at the mouth of Tokyo Bay. I live on the western shore. You'd better check one of the live version of this when you got a time. It is just a spectacular magic when Miyako shifts from gitar to waltzing piano and back to chugging guitar. Great reaction as always! That first solo must be the shortest in history I think? 😂😂About the drumming of Haruna, her pace and stamina are superb, luckily for her this is the only uptempo track of Lovebites while the rest is below 100 bpm 😜😜 (only joking) Haruna once told in an interview that the tour they did was very exausting and she asked advice how to get less exausted and one of the ways was that she sings along with the songs so she relaxes more while playing. Their fastest song is Soldier Stand Solitarily, when Miyako wrote the piece she said to the bandmembers that it has to be so fast because of the energy in the song and said sorry to Haruna and Asami in the MV (she was just making fun)
