It's so awesome to see the love for retro gaming growing ever bigger, I just wish the retro gaming scene would become as big here in Sweden as it currently is in the states, I especially would love to see Arcade halls make a grand return, but that's also something that's a bit difficult here in Sweden because of a stupid law we have that forces all arcade machines to give a receipt for every single time a coin or token is put into the machine, which means the machines has to be custom made with that slot for receipts in them.

Travelled for the first time in my life to go to Pax West last weekend.... best weekend of my life HANDS DOWN!! Didn't run in to you though! Huge bummer... but I wanna go back, hope one day I can run in to you at one of these events as i'm not afraid to travel anymore!! There were so many people and 2 buildings though so I get why I couldn't run in to you! Needless to say though going for the 20th anniversary was soooo worth it! I am beyond happy that I went and I miss it still already!

Thanks for the walkthrough and for the Seatlle plug. That convention center and a future PAX West is on my list of to do(s) for sure. I am also looking forward to Astrobot and really the new PS5 Pro. But also I want to play all the new Nintendo Switch games and am super stoked about the Switch 2. The Akimbot and MonsterJam Showdown looked realy interesting so I am going to check those out. It's crazy how good the library of the 3DS is, especially when you also look at the DS games. I totally missed the DS and 3DS time because I was too busy with my job, in my childhood we had the gameboys... now I just bought the 2ds (way more comfy for my hands than the 3ds) because I wanted to play A Link between worlds, just then I found out how great the library is. Now I bought a lot of DS and 3DS games and I am really glad that my new job gives me more free time so I can play the hell out of these.

Pax has some of the front line studios showing off their stuff on the main floor but most of the panels are community focused. E3 was always industry / media focused. Like - e3 is never going to have a console free play area. I’m not even talking about the board game floor

It felt like a mix of E3 and Comic Con, but just different enough from both that I didn't know how to spend my time. I ended up leaving early, and on Monday when they closed early anyway. 😬
