Then where he is just shows you a hint kn the detail.... like does he play that lick on the high strings or lower strings but high on the fretboard. Or is the slide here or there... and how clean you need to get each note to sound good. Sometimes you think you have to get all nites perfectly. Most often there's 50% perfect, 25% sloppy and 25% in between. The sloppy ones add a bit of grit, texture, attitude or power or whatever.
