John Marshall, Lloyd Grant, Ron McGovney and Dave Mustaine are part of the band too. That can never be taken from them.

Love to see the progress, how they are just sitting there relaxed, looking in a paper and listen, coming with input now and then. And suddenly they know how it should sound, when they found the right riff, the right tempo etc. That creative process is fascinating.

Damn, that's one of the earliest Spector Basses made. I think it's a late 70's-early 80's (Gene Simmons played a black one, that was one of the first ever built on the Alive II Tour), because it has the Precision pickup in the old type, weird shaped DiMarzio pickup cover. Those pickups are getting more n' more impossible to come by. I hoarded a few sets of 'em up back in the mid 80's that I still use in a couple of my older Fenders to this day. I betcha that bass would probably sell for 8 grand, maybe more. Not a lot of those made, at all. It's pretty much a holy grail bass, to say the least.
