As a composer for fun I can’t really fathom how Kamen came up with so many countermelodies for pre-existing songs, it’s super impressive
@MrRabiddogg5 ай бұрын
there was an interview a while back where he said it was fairly easy. Something along the lines of coloring in a kids coloring book because the outline of the songs were so brilliantly put together. He said the hardest part was narrowing down the playlist. (it was at least 15 years ago so I don't remember the exact wording)

When they revisited this, but with another orchestra in 2019, the feeling was different. It was good, but the conductors (two of them) simply were not as innovative or talented. They were good, but not to the level as Kamen.

Two things. 1. What the fuck, James. Imagine being able to play this fucking song and sing it at the same time. This song is hard to play in the guitar. So yeah. Fucking wow. 2. Lars sounds out of this fucking world. I love the sound of the drums here. Remember, this song is hard to play, fast and easy to loose the beat, and being the last song of this concert. Wow. Say whatever you like about Lars today, but here, HE'S THE FUCKING GOAT.
