Those fast drums you hear are the double kick drums engaged by both feet, each with a kick pedal. That's one of those aspects that got me into heavy metal back in the olden days. It's like thunder or avalanche.

There is also a double kick pedal that's played with one foot on a single bass drum. 2nd foot is working the hi-hat cymbals. I'm a purist on this, can't help it. 🤷‍♂🤘 sorry...
