@@MetalCris92 Hi! If you draw lead, I think that means you've been shot (or it could mean you've had rough times). If you piss wine, well that either means you literally piss wine, in that case those rough times have lead you to drinking excessively. Or it could mean you piss blood, which would also possibly mean having been shot or having had really rough times. That's my interpretation of it anyway! Hope it helps!

They need to do Reload for the 20th anniversary
@michaelangeloh.53837 жыл бұрын
None of those are probably going to happen. - For "Justice", even though this year is the anniversary, I feel like they're not touching it. - Not with a remix (though, maybe a remaster), not with playing it live, because even when they played it on its actual tour they lamented that the songs were too much to play live, let alone 30 years later and all of it. The Load-albums are quite long as well and there's just too much shit to play and remember. - I would love if they'd do some "forgotten" songs that they haven't played live much, but do them really well. - Ones like : "Outlaw", or "Carpe Diem", "Wild Things", "Prince", "UII", "Hero", "Bleeding", and a few more. - I think they're really great songs just overlooked and dismissed because of some mediocre songs on the same albums. But all of them... I don't think most people in the world and in the band are interested in that.
@rayfran067 жыл бұрын
Yea, for sure! Everyone hates on 90s Metallica but that is what I grew up on and found their older stuff later and love it. Each part of their career makes you like them. I got into playing guitar from their fast early days but the later stuff made me want to get into blues. The new album one of my favorite tracks is "now that were dead" reminds me so much of the 90s metallica that makes me think there is still a place for it once there is no hair cut and selling out bullshit!

One of my favorite aspects of this song is its slow tempo. Most bands play their song faster than normal. I would have loved if they all took a shot and played it even slower than the album version.
@michaelangeloh.53837 жыл бұрын
Someone who gets it; A lot of MetallicA's stuff is tempo-critical (like most music in the world), apart from the songs that can be pushed (sometimes either way, faster or slower). - The tempo here is slightly too fast to work, they seem to almost trip over it. - But Lars doesn't fucking understand this stuff. Guys like Bob Rock and Jason Newsted did, and I suppose James too. But it's like rushing "Bellz" or "Thingy" , or "Sad", or "Harvester" or something, which they have done, and a lot of it is due to excitement or "adrenaline" as performers would claim, but it doesn't work. Might all seem corksniffery and I get that, but there's still a reality to it. - And yea, the Load-albums have a lot of Heavy Rock/Metal stuff that needs a lower tempo to really hook into it. Perhaps tracks like Fuel offer some leeway, but most don't.
