There is one thing I particulary like about Lars drumming - while listening only to the drum track you can tell in which part of the song you are.

Hades 23 it’s definitely not easy, but if you’ve been playing for a while and good with double bass then you pick it up quick
@shariel97313 жыл бұрын
@Elijah Vowels Thy is also a drummer. I would say the song it's self is easy enough to learn . But it's the double bass which you need endurance for.
@brodywise47507 жыл бұрын
You're the only person I've seen play this song that doesn't struggle playing this song especially the fast double bass. I know this isn't an easy song to play by any means but your cover is the best of any drummer I seen play it (Including myself). Keep it up. Love the channel

I'll see you play it on my drum kit. Which is almost the same as Lars used to record this album. Same numbers and sizes of shells (two BD 24x16 '', four Toms of 12x11 '' to 15x14 '', Floors of 16x16 '' & 18x16 '' + a 14x6.5 '' Steel Snare). Tama Camco Professional Pedal x2. The same numbers and sizes of cymbals but they are Sabian AAX (Modern, Bright, Brilliant) XPlosion Crash (equivalent of Zildjian A Custom Projection Crash) 16, two 17, 18 and 19 '', Sabian AA (Vintage, Bright, Traditional 14 '' Medium Hi-Hat & 20 '' Medium Ride, Zildjian 18 & 20 '' Oriental China Trash. Lars had used rather traditional Zildjian A's (Vintage, Bright) 17 & 18 '' Medium-Thin & 16, 17 & 18 '' Medium (the classic Crashes setup (Studio and Live) and long-standing (85 to 2000) from Lars two ZC1 14 '' Dyno-Beat Hi-Hat and a 19 '' China Boy Low with occasionally a 20 '' A Ping Ride but not on AJFA. Another very successful interpretation especially that Dyers Eve is not for all drummers. It's a drum track of endurance and precision as I often say. Good job Josh !!!, JR

That shit was not simple.
@zippy19118 жыл бұрын
I must of missed your last drum video.
@F150fx2sporT8 жыл бұрын
+Victor Sanchez did I say I was a drummer? I said it's simple for the fact that he's not played live for years, he's not constantly touring AND he's just at home recording until it's perfect. Kind of not fair for to compare him to Lars. Specially at Lars' age. And you are forgetting Lars made this up, Josh is just COVERING IT.
@nicolhaidi8 жыл бұрын
+Victor Sanchez I'm pretty sure Lars himself recorded his part in a studio too. And I'm also sure what you hear on the album are a lot of different takes cut and pasted together, whilst Josh just seems to play all of it in just one take. So I can't understand what you're trying to say here. Also, touring if anything makes you play BETTER, it's practice after all. And age has nothing to do with playing a fucking instrument.

+Ranskulainen as soon as word gets around (and these days it's fast) I'm sure it will keep rising quicker than usual! No1 has ever covered "Eve" on KZbin.. not in it's entirety anyway and definitely not the manner that Josh recorded it (2 cams) n no special effects!
