Fantastic performance! I told you this before - you're at your best with the heavy/thrash metal songs. You're are amazing the way you attack the drums - your talent is incredible! And you have a different look when you play this type of music - a stern, aggressive, no frills type look. I was watching an older video of yours from 3 yrs ago where you played Slipknot's "Psychosocial" - incredible performance! And the performance you did on Slayer's "Angle of Death" literally sent chills on my skin when you aggresively attacked those drums on the tempo change! Yes she does make it look easy...I'm on my 4th set of drums in 25years,I NOSE🤫 it's a humbling experience with note for note drumming of Metal songs and especially other percussionist styles of unnatural habits. Even Lars Ulrich shows way more concentration while playing looking down with head centered.. and crouching over forward to not let anything be out of perrifeal vision. And he wrote the Shit! lol. Making the concentration faces, the struggle faces, the getting low on breath faces. The jammin, THRASHY, drumming awesome tonight faces. Which I laugh at now because his long,Penticostal Long!!! lightly feathered majestic hair is gone. Forever More. He now looks like a middle school geography teacher making the faces up there kinda struggling to perform Heavy Metal songs and could get beat up just for the George Jefferson Hair Line lol Watching Ami Kim, specifically at the working hard parts of a song, to sound and be in time... She doesn't have to bow up, get ready for it, swivel chair, turn hips, get leverage, tense up, lean over, hold a breath, make any type face, hold her mouth open or closed, or Even concentrate a little bit more just a few seconds. Me And Lars, or even Dave Lombardo!!! Are swinging arms through the air and hitting stuff hard to make sure it still makes a beat if missing sweet spot. Toms hopping a little bit having to hold arms up and then strike down in same spots for the recoil.Gripping sticks for dear life which can work against you but better than sending one off across your own face into something else to boomerang back at cha head twirling like a runaway propeller. lol. Squenchin face and bobbing head while crouching over snare and hat to get closer and use balls of feet Only to kick them double bass pedals fast and long without letting up cause it's just badass the whole time for any song. AMI drumming the same riffs on the racked up and out distant Sea of targets to hit and using crashes above her head and directly 90degrees left and right of her, doesn't even swivel chair , reach out leaning towards, lean back to make room for swing, or have arms or sticks all in the atmosphere or in front of her face,adds the slowly raise arm up to side then rollin wrist for stick to be pulled through her fingers rotating like a skill saw blade to hit a beat while stopping the twirl! Perfect posture torso hadn't moved, no breath lost, and the only face she's ever showed that makes drumming Metallica and Slayer look like the effort COUNTRY music drummers use to play a song. IS LOOKING DEAD INTO THE FURTHEST CAMERA, AT US, AND HOLDING A SMILE FACE!!! during almost the whole song. Neil Peart voted worlds most prestigious and disciplined drummer more than once. AND he couldn't even hold a smile while flexing around and reaching looking at what he was swinging at next. Had to focus and concentrate to play his own written material correctly. IT WOULD BE HILARIOUS TO SEE HOW WELL LARS WOULD PERFORM BASS DRUMS .... IN 👠👠👈 just to throw another she makes it look easy as hell example lol
