I know Master of Puppets has made a huge come back through Stranger Things. Don’t let this push you away from the power of this album. It helped shape my musical taste. What I love about Metallica is their ability to stay relevant. Don’t stop blasting it.

Typical gatekeeping bs. Tbf a lot of fans aren't like that but there are those that give metalheads a bad name.

Listening to your recording of St. Anger is better than Metallica's studio version 😂 sound kind of Deathcore/Metalcore-esque and I love it!

You can DL a clean version of DM, through less than legal means. Unfortunatelty it's the only way to get it. Look for DM Guitar Hero

Kill 'Em All was released in December, 1983. I saw them open for Raven that summer in Portland and was going to buy the Metal Up Your Ass demo but James was going on that the album was going to he released in October so I didn't get the demo...still regret that decision. Anywho, it didn't come out until the first week of December but I didn't buy it until Cardboard Box Appreciation Day (Dec. 26, 1983), same day I got Blizzard Of Oz, Number Of The Beast, Metal Health and a dozen other albums so I would stop borrowing my dad's. Got a Pioneer stereo system to replace the 1960s floor model system I was using in the basement. 1983, I remember that year very well.

Worst memory of 1983, November, Black Sabbath's Born Again tour with Ian Gillan (Deep Purple) on vocals and Quiet Riot as the opener was cancelled in my city due to Geezer having bronchitis. I didn't get to see the show but my dad took his girlfriend to Vegas a couple weeks later and left me in Vancouver because school reasons. That was the tour with the massive Stonehenge set that was parodied in This Is Spinal Tap. My uncle took me to see Revenge of the Ninja (Sho Kosugi) so it wasn't all bad.

That was incredible!! Flawless in fact. I noticed you cover a lots bands but nothing from megadeth. It would be unbelievable to see you cover their catelog. I know you totally crush it. Thanks for the music videos.

for me metallica's first 3 albums are untouchable and after that it never reached that level.
@atomicpunk23602 жыл бұрын
Not many metal albums in general have reached that level. Kill ‘em All (my personal favorite), Ride the Lightning, and Master of Puppets are god tier albums.

I gave up on Metallica after "Garage Inc." and to this day I regret buying the album. I should have stopped after buying "Load" but curiosity got the best of me with "Reload" and "Garage Inc." and well curiosity killed the cat with anything after 'Garage Inc.".

Com certeza, o ponto forte da banda é o vocal e a guitarra de James Hatfield, que fez um bom trabalho em todos os álbuns do Metallica. (Menos em “Lulu”).

IMO, Metallica was a Great band ONLY within their first 10 years (1981/1991). Those 5 albums were awesome! But what if Metallica`s debut would be in 1996 with a Load album? I`m deeply convinced: THAT version of Metallica would be an outsider in the Nu metal Era. Both 1996 and 1997 releases were pretty mediocre. That Metallica would be disbanded immidiately after the total disaster with St.Anger. Even if not, their boring 2008 and 2016 albums would be barely visible for a wide audience after such a weak start since 1996. It is easy: if you still measure ANY band in 2022 primarily based upon its huge single from 1986, the Greatness of such a band is doubtful. IMO, taking into account the stability in a range of a full career, Megadeth and Testament are arguably stronger than Metallica.
