Battery or The Thing That Should Not Be is mandatory from this show. "Thingy" is a super dark and brutally sounding song from their MoP album. "It's about thee heaviest number known to mankind"

The opening song of this show in Seattle, *'Blackened'* , is worth checking out. Metallica at their peak.

You can’t go wrong with any performance from this show. Day on the Green ‘85 is also a very significant show. That ‘guitar’ sounding part at the start was actually the bass and it was Cliff Burton, the bassist at the time, who wrote the part. You should check out that ‘85 performance of this same song to see Cliff shred on the bass. Otherwise, ya this ‘89 Seattle show is 10/10 all the way through. Creeping Death is my personal favourite song. Would love to see you check out The Four Horseman from that show too, it’s from their first album, Kill Em All. Subscribed!

We need to keep Rock and Roll alive anyway we can. I saw these guys when they were playing little small night clubs and with Dave Mustane of Megadeth. I actually have 2 good memories with these guys that were a little personal not much but it was a good couple of memories that I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Take care guys.👍

Disposable Heroes any version is a must. Btw the American anthem Kirk through in was a tribute to Hendrix who was from Seattle.

Please don't react to mostly anything post 90's, they sound sloppy and the guitar mix is shit.

Jimmy Hendrix is from Seattle. Kirk was paying tribute at the end with the Star Spangled Banner.

The anniversary of these two Seattle shows is tomorrow and Tuesday. This show was even more intense in person. I was fortunate to be at both of these Seattle shows.

One of the most metal things about Metallica was Jason’s hair😂 bless his heart he kicked ass for 14 years.

Hello! This is not a religious song. For Whom the Bell Tolls is a novel by Ernest Hemingway published in 1940. It tells the story of Robert Jordan, a young American volunteer attached to a Republican guerrilla unit during the Spanish Civil War. However, there is another song from the same album of this song. Hope you will listen to that song too! :)

The name of the song is from Ernst Hemingway novel of the same name. It's about Spanish civil war where Hemingway supported the anti-fascists. It's a great book, highly recommend.

And the point of the title of the song/book is that it is a line from a John Donne poem, where he says that everyman's death diminishes me. So don't sent out to ask to whom (the funeral) bell tolls: it tolls for thee/you. It's a nice poem, too.
