I am a kid from Nepal, a small and poor country in Indian subcontinent, who first knew about Metallica when one of my buddies played the acoustic part of “Fade to Black” and my mind blew away. Ever since, I had become a huge fan of the band, words cannot describe how much their music has an impact on my life. On 11-12-2023, I got to see my favorite band in Ford Field, as I am doing my PhD in USA. The most surreal feeling I’ve ever had. I will never forget that day.

Took my son to this show. It was the first Metallica concert for us both. It was epic. Bummed they didn't play battery, but you cant expect a band that's been going for 42 years to only play old songs. Planning on seeing them again if they come back around.
@m2karateman9 ай бұрын
Plenty of songs they could have played on either night, but didn't. Still, this was a great set list. I enjoyed Sunday's set list from Metallica a bit more than Friday's. But both nights were off the charts good.

Sorry, but as much as I love Metallica - this statement is definitely nonsense. Metallica was at the peak of live performances between 1988 and 1993. The power, sound and energy they had back then made them the best live band in the world. I was on 23 Metallica Shows between 1988 and 2023. They are still top today - but better than they were in the early 1990s - they are definitely not! But with this very physical form of live performance, that's something that's completely impossible at over 60 years old!
@froot60869 ай бұрын
@@fam.hunger5244 i agree, ive been noticing a small decline in the ability for them to play their songs and actually keep on time, ive noticed in this concert that they were fucking up transitions, lars was stopping beats before hand. Theyre still a solid band, but theyre struggling for sure.
