Lars is one of the great drummers because he co-wrote all those gem iconic pieces and albums. Metal is not about technic only. Is about inspiration and passion. For every portnoy of this world metal has a “philthy animal”. Lars is a totem for metal cause he gave birth to Metallica and participated in 6/7 iconic lps that ruled an era.

I'm not gonna argue with that, but I'd like to ask what YOUR favorite Metallica album IS? Just out of curiosity - there ARE NO WRONG ANSWERS!! I like 72Seasons A LOT, but I'm old, & my fave is "Master of Puppets". There isn't a single note or drum beat that isn't perfect. I will never hear 72 Seasons as many times as their earlier albums - just because of my age - but that doesn't mean it isn't an Unbelievably GR8 album. As long as you're part of the Metallica Family, then, really, Nothing Else Matters!!😊!! (Sorry - I couldn't help myself-lol!!)!!

I'm old & have been a fan since the beginning. I saw them on both "Master of Puppets" & ".....And Justice for All" tours, then I saw then 8-9 yrs ago (I can't remember exactly - MY fault!! -lol!!) And then the 2 nights in Edmonton. I am CERTAIN they WILL tour again, so start putting some $ aside whenever you can, & keep informed about who comes thru wherever is close to you, & it may take 2-3 yrs B4 they do another big tour, but they WILL, & if you can say "I have $ for the tickets", I imagine your Dad & Brother will be happy to go & pay for transportation & whatnot. I wish you the best, & I KNOW you WILL have a chance to see them with your Dad & Bro. If I win the lottery B4 then, I will look up this comment & SEND Yous WHEREVER they play for yous to see them!! Peace!!

These new songs sound awesome live!!! Now for the next album somebody hide the wah-wah from Kirk so he actually has to work on his solos again like he used to before the Black Album. "oooh one note sounds cool if I modulate with the wah-wah.... means I can surf instead of getting my ass in the studio and work on my solo composition!" That being said, Lars sounds phenomenal again now!!! You can really tell that he is practicing again!
