That’s one thing they pay their guitar techs for. To keep their instruments in good condition after being exposed to weather conditions that aren’t good for them. Extreme heat isn’t good for them either so I’m sure their techs have to do truss rod adjustments to fix warped necks after every hot summer performance.

I love Metallica and I'm the same age as the majority of the band. I often wonder if they ever get sick and tired of being in the game and touring? I'm in great shape for my age and work full time in construction, but I could never hold their gig! NEVER
