NOTE: I've been seeing many comments on past videos about how I overplay and do too much and end up ruining the song... While I do not ALWAYS agree with that, I do understand what the comments mean and where they come from. So with that in mind I made sure I really stayed calm and have been really working on discipline while recording these videos. Unless its mastodon or dream theater where overplaying is inherent in the DNA of their songwriting. Even then I try to stay within the confines of where the original artist was. So with that I thank you for watching and I will probably do more content on this kit to keep myself grounded on a smaller drumset... with a big drum set you get, as Gavin Harrison once said, "Swamped with choice." I totally understand that.. Will see more videos from me in the coming months. Thanks!!!

Man, I love the "overplaying" style. Dont listen to them, just do what you want to!

Yeah, I mad dig his so called overplaying as well...screw the haters, if they want cookie cutter covers they can go somewhere else

Honestly - it's what you prefer and are shooting for. If you want a note for note play, that's great and go for it but, frankly, those who give you any grief about "over playing" are pure on jealous and just trying to find something to chop you down about. The fact is - you play some pretty intense and complex songs and, as with most musicians, you own touch will be in any song. I have not heard one song that you have "ruined". Don't let haters who hide behind computers judge you. You, my friend, kick some major butt and have more talent than most of us could hope for. Let the haters put up their own channel if they feel they can do better. Keep kicking it!

amazing as always! :) seriously though, why cover this simple song from Metallica when we know you do Tool, Dreamtheater and many others. I guess Lars could learn a thing or two from you :) maybe he could try to cover you, ha ha :)

This "simple song" is better than anything by those two bands.
