Translation: interviewer: How come you ended up in an american heavymetal group? Lars: It was in fall 1980 where i moved with my parents to the US to try and become a tennis player. Though that quickly failed. And i had always been very interested in heavy rock and played a little as a hobby. So it was like the tennis thing kind of failed, so i had decided to get something running with a group and play drums. Interviewer: How is the heavymetal scene in california? Lars: Its very big. There is a lot of heavymetal and heavy rock so its very different from how it is here in europe since its a lot more like in the mid 70s, more glam rock. I would say the american heavymetal sound (sorry i cant make out what he is saying here) like american bands have like KISS and Van Halen that style right. Where there is a lot of weight on like the image and the music, i wouldnt say comes in the second row but the image definetly has a lot to do with the bands.

So you all know, I am swedish and I understand almost everything Lars says! Swedish and Danish are close relatives "east nordic". Danish is a little bit cooler though. Everything with Denmark is actually better than Sweden.
