My favorite live Disposable Heros performance!! The energy is off the chain in Mexico City 2013!! It's my go-to for sure!! 🎸🎶❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥🤘🤘 Also, I Love ❤️ the new album!! Try and remember that they've evolved and are 60/61 years young!! I've been blessed to have grown up with Metallica as im 58 years old! I would also tell you to check out The Day that Never comes live in Nimes!! Excellent song, and they kill it live!! I've seen Metallica since the early 80s to present 2023, and there's no band that comes close, sir! Sorry... it's facts hun! Please check out live Metallica is better than ANY studio! It's the energy!! Legends....period.

I feel the same about new Metallica. I haven't been a huge fan of a whole lot from them since the black album. I get that they have aged like we all do but I sooo miss the old Metallica sound. I've seen them live several times in the 80's and 90's. Amazing live back then.

The new album has too few properly composed solos. All the solos are just Kirk lazily playing cramming together a bunch of noodly, aimless pentatonic riffs with no sense of a melodic motif . Ultimately, it comes down to memorable melodies, and, compared to their work even through the *Load* albums, their last 3 albums are relatively short on melodic hooks, be they vocal, bass, drum, or guitar. It sounds like someone randomly cut and pasted together brief droids of Metallica rehearsal tapes and then had someone solo over them. One take; no chance to hear the track before that one take.
