@@VicInNocal it's the way the guitar is designed it has a rounded back and is a little thinner than a normal acoustic and the neck is thinner also and has a cut a way making it easier to play higher notes and the neck is smooth as glass I have one and love it look it up on KZbin I'm sure there is a video that will describe it better than me
