The sound from the instruments sounds great with the acoustics of the stadium the bridge verse transitions you know the nice medley part sound special what ever eq and configuration they had matched with the acoustics of the stadium that night mixed with the feeling unique each gig with live shows sounds great newsteds bass sounds great throughout with the guitars Love this live version of one have done since young the song that got me into Metallica Viva Metallica

Always liked this version because of that bit in the breakdown before the double kicking part where Lars uses the symbols to build it up. Also the 2 count kick at the end followed by a big held out power chord. \m/

The song "One" was based on the American novel "Johny Got His Gun" about a Canadian soldier on the western front of WWI having his legs, arms and jaw blown off by a landmine. His entire body is covered with bandages, and only a part of his brain functions correctly and keeps him thinking, as he slowly realizes he is a wreckage of a human and begs god to end his torment.
